Hi, I'm Alf and I are English and live in the Scottish Highlands with my wife Brenda and currently our daughter and grandson are living with us too....

I love to sing and listen to others sing.. I've made lots of really lovely friends on here.. and they will be friends through into eternity.. I'm also a Christian and a member of my local church where I play the organ..

My singing experience before coming on Singsnap was mainly church based. Although in my early teens and before I belonged to a local town children's choir until my voice broke then left as I could not get on with my 'new' voice lol.. I loved singing the melody but was put in the 'seconds' as they were called and had to sing bass.. I sang very little apart from congregational singing until our church formed an occasional choir for special services and a male voice group and that is my only singing experience except for the shower hehe.. oh and the male group did record a 'tape' for commercial use but not sure I can find my copy now hehe..

I have to say I do love the personal touch on here and you will find that when I listen to a song I listen the whole way through to the very last note.. and I will write a straight from the heart, personal comment on your song..

If you listen to my songs, please have the courtesy to leave a personal comment and not one which is copied and pasted like some do.. that is very impersonal and if I feel that such a comment has been left, I will not return the visit to your page..

Oh and did I forget to say that I work at the Eilean Donan Castle near Kyle of Lochalsh... as a Tour Guide.. and it's the most photographed castle in Scotland (I read somewhere lol)...you better go check it out on http://www.eileandonancastle.com/ then click the brown Virtual Tour tab to see inside..... and if you come visit the castle one day on vacation...come find me lol....
