Just so's ya'll know... unless otherwise noted, all my recordings are saved after one take. There are surprises, silliness, musicality, and, occasionally, the complete lack thereof! *chuckles* I'm here to have fun and try new stuff. (Okay, contests songs aren't usually one takers. It depends on if I have to learn it, etc. lol)
As some of you have noted, I have my ratings turned off. There are alot of reasons I do this, but the reason I continue is because I'm sincerely not trying to impress anybody. I'm here for my own amusement, and if my antics amuse others in the process - HOORAY! ^_^ (If not, run away... run away quickly.... LOL)
I use a Shure SM58 mic and the M-Audio FastTrack mixer.
I have one son who is four years old, and I'm getting a music career started for myself locally. I'm getting my own band together. (Know any really good drummers and / or bassists in the STL/ So Illinois area? *chuckles*) I play trumpet, rhythm guitar, and I had years and years of piano lessons as a kid; I can probably still pick out songs - and I could most definitely learn them! ^_^
