The Latest (May 2009)

Comcast must have done something because it no longer constantly drops the signal 900 times so I can't record anything! Finally, they have done something right!

On the other hand, I am not on here all that often because I have a roommate in school and I am really busy with my websites too (and still obviously haven't had time to put any of my web skills to work on updating this profile all fancy either!)

I have FINALLY been offered a permanent position with the company I have been temping with, so it looks like my trying financial times are over for a while! WOO HOO!

Why My Recordings Are Not Good Quality

I don't have a mixer or the right mic. (which sucks, by the way!) I have a really high quality USB mic, but it was made more for podcasts rather than singing. My dad (bless his heart) went out and found me the best computer mic he could find, and it turns out it's not the best for this! Given my recent changes in employment, I hope to have enough money soon to buy something more appropriate!

About Singing

I love to sing! My first solo was at the age of 16. So no, I actually didn't grow up singing! I didn't even know I could sing a lick until I was about 13 years old when I moved to a town where chorus was "cool" and my new best friend heard me singing along to a Debbie Gibson song and said, "you have a really good voice!" I eventually tried out for chorus, and I ended up singing and performing in high school and college, and completed 3 & 1/2 years of classical vocal study in a Bachelors in Music program! I didn't complete the program, as I thought, "I don't need a degree to sing." Now, I basically sing in the car, in my house, at my friend's weddings or on SING SNAP!

I love all kinds of music, so I sing it all... but I'm not exactly a pro at all of it!!!  I have become so busy, I can hardly keep up with the new songs! My commute is only about 15 minutes max, and that is the only time I listen to the radio!

Just chilling out in the ATL with my two cats in my condo. I'm single (and loving it!) and still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up!!!

Interests (besides singing!)

Dancing, Acting, Photography, learning Spanish, Genealogy, Comedy, Blogging, Website Marketing, etc.... a.k.a. Just about everything except sports! (I only dance!)
