I was born and raised in Kentucky and have lived in Ohio for a few years. I served in the Army and Navy. I retired from the Navy in 1994. I love singing and writing songs. I have performed one man shows all over the world and on ships at sea.
On 15 September 2009 Ray wrote:I had a lengthy hospital stay from November 10, 2008 till February 10, 2009. During that time I underwent a treachiotomy. I couldn't use my voice for several weeks. I have been slowly recovering. During my illness I received many phone calls, cards and well wishes from my SingSnap friends. I want to thank all of you for your caring thoughts and kindness.
Merle Haggard is my all-time favorite Recording Artist.
