I would like to spend a moment to introduce myself to you, my name is John. Working in support of the military, I was a part of the first team of individuals to go into Kuwait. We were working with 25 different countries, putting out the oil well fires in Kuwait. With over 700 oil wells on fire my stay of eight months was without a day off, working 12 to 15 hours a day.I should lay down a little background for a story we called "OL PEPPER" When we flew into Kuwait, it was impossible to see the ground, because of dense black smoke. Once we passed through the blanket of black smoke, there was only about 3000 feet of visibility. In the rolling desert, it looked like a giant birthday cake with all the candles lit. All of the Kuwaiti construction equipment had been dismantled and put into large pits. We went out across the desert looking for some useable equipment. We found a D-6 CAT dozer that had a radiator shoot full of holes, by the Iraqi military. We found a bombed out cafeteria and looked for something to repair the radiator. The only thing we could find was black pepper. This is the way we came up with OL PEPPER. I was operating this piece of equipment, and you talk about stinking, it was a terrible smell, but we managed to put out several oil well fires with her. I think she deserves being mentioned.

I have been happily married for 20 years, to my lovely wife Johnnie Lou . She works as an elementary school teacher.. My wife does not sing and cannot carry a tune, but put her on a dance floor and she can really dance.  This is when she enjoys music most  when she's dancing.  We do some dancing around in the living room to the Sing Snap music

We have been blessed with four wonderful sons. My sons are always singing but they do not have time for the Internet.  They're busy doing things of larger interest.

Our home sits on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with 565 miles of shoreline. The land rolls down to the shore line. A beautiful place for a cup of coffee early in the morning.

We all love boating and have a houseboat. We're in the middle of the hunting club, which is a private development.  There are all sorts of animals in here. Although I personally do not hunt small animals, I do love fishing and camping. We can go out on the houseboat and stay for a week. We also have some kayaks which we love and use together as a family. When we travel, our trip it is usually to Mexico or Branson Missouri.

I am extremely excited about being a member of Sing Snap, and I love to listen to music and enjoy other people singing. I personally love any and all kind of music.
