~Military Wives Prayer~ At night when I crawl into bed, My lonely pillow 'neath my head, I close my eyes and say a prayer. "God keep him safe way over there, And make me strong so I won't cry. It's kinda hard to be alone and teach the kids when they're half grown, without the strength of a father's hand to guide them in this troubled land. So I'll need a little help from you, to let me know what I should do. And God please will you let him know, How much we love and miss him so. And then I feel across the bed, To where he used to lay his head, and I close my eyes so very tight, so I won't cry again tonight, and whisper to the evening air, "Good night my darling way over there."

***To my husband and the rest of his unit (they've recently deployed again, to the Middle East for 15 months), please stay safe and COME HOME SOON!!*** I am married with children :-). I was born in Louisville, KY. We moved from Kentucky when I was 4, to Massachusetts, where I stayed for nearly 20 years. Then it was off to Oklahoma for 2 years (my hubby is in the military). We are now in Germany, where we've been for almost 3 years. It's gorgeous here, but I am missing the good ol' USA :-). As for music, my taste is pretty diverse...I listen to a little bit of everything, but I do tend to lean towards country. I do not claim to be a good singer, but I do love to sing...it's my stress reliever.
