i Hello to all my new friends. What a wonderful site this is. I have had a very blessed life and am now in the twilight of my years. I have three children, a son and two daughters, four grandsons and four grandaughters. I am married to Ben and live near Chicago. We have a beautiful six yr. old Boston Terrier, Kay-la. She is my best friend and so much company for me. I had the good fortune to serve others in a long career as registered nurse, high school and jr. college teacher, and nursing home administrator, as well as seven years doing department of Public Aid casework. Don't do the math, or you will find my age. I was injured in an elevator accident at work almost thirteen yrs. ago and am pretty much homebound unless someone takes me somewhere. My outings mostly consist of going to doctor appointments and for labwork. I love to sing and play the piano and organ. Cna't do any of them well anymore, but I try. The web has become a way of life for me, a connection to the outside world. This site truly enhances my internet experience. Everyone here is so special. Thank you for letting me join you.
