Cat, I saw multiple snubs at first too and admit to laughing.
But then it seemed strange to me that Fox HADN'T reported on it. So I watched it a few more times.
Funny how our take on things clouds what we think we see, eh?
But Piano, we DID question and look again. Wonder if many people did that for Bush? Ever.
Big difference, in order to slam Obama they had to use a doctored video, on many occasions Bush was naturally dumb. Example: the time he made believe he was looking for Weapons of Mass Destruction under the furniture. That was totally tasteless and stupid in view of the fact that young american soldiers were dying in Iraq looking for those non-existent WMD's.
The video was not doctored. It simply is a matter of perception. If you look at it with the words "Obama snubbed" and you do not like Obama, then you will see him holding out his hand for people to shake and him getting ignored and a comical look on his face.
But if you like Obama and do NOT see that tag line, then you see what really happened.. he was presenting the Russian president to the Americans. And still had a comical expression on his face.
I am no going to argue with you about Bush's intellect. I liked the man, still like the man and think that in the history of our country, he will be remembered favourably.
I don't believe stupid people make it to the presidency. If they do, then they are a perfect representation of the majority, since they had to be voted in.

You've presented the main problem with partisan politics. It clouds how you see things, mainly... the truth.
What about the person who isn't especially wild about Obama but is able to be objective anyhow and see what's really happening?
I'm not sure whether or not you know about Rush Limbaugh jumping on the hoax story about Obama's senior thesis, but he was just so ready to believe it because of his opinion on the man. It clouded his ability to see the truth.
On the other side of the coin, people were so ready to believe Rush Limbaugh said racist comments that he did not because of their opinion on the man. Again, clouding their ability to see the truth.
This is the main problem when dealing with politics. It's why groups like the 'truthers' and the 'birthers' exist. Reasonable people are led to believe unreasonable things. It's these kinds of incidents that one would hope we could learn from and stop coming into the argument with pre-conceived notions.
Ok, I've watched it 5 times now. Tell me if you see what I saw.
I clearly saw the dude that was walking behind the Prez reaching his hand out also and beating him to the handshakes. Prezkerz wasn't snubbed, the guy behind him was just faster at grabbing a hand to shake. It sorta looked like every time Prezzie realized the dude behind him was stealing his handshakes, he tried to cover it up as though he was waving a low hello instead.

I noticed that SOME of you came to the realization, not all, at least not until it was clearly spelled out. :)
