I remember hearing about this and seeing other video showing that he was actually introducing Russian President Medvedev to members of the American delegation.
I must certainly have my blinders on tonight, because I obviously did not see what you saw. I see it now. I like the first version better though. It was funnier.
*HA HA HA HA* Sorry Shy... I've watched Fox News enough to know that they employ very insidious tactics. Lots of editing of video comments to make people look bad, the use of 'question headlines', etc. In fact, I stay away from any of the cable news networks.
And no, no one ever questioned what was happening with Bush because he made his mistakes clear and out in the open, usually without realizing it.
But, to be fair... All politicians have their gaffes and blunders:

My husband saw it in the right light immediately, and he hates Obama. I didn't, but I had read the "snubbed handshake" title and my husband hadn't. I was thinking, "Wow, I don't like the dude, but that's not cool." Then my husband was like, "Um, he's introducing them." Oops. :)

My husband got it in an e-mail and we were both CERTAIN that he was trying to shake their hands.
Funny the tricks our minds play on us. ;)
And actually no, it would NOT be cool. Like it or not (and I don't like it) he is the President of the United States. If nothing else, the position should be respected.
Wish people would have remembered that during Dubya's time in office.

I'm the kind of person that prefers to be objective.
If I'm presented with a video, especially one of such short duration, my first thought is that it's being taken out of context.
My wife will tell you that I'm not one to jump to snap conclusions very often.
I also know that my sense of humor tends to be rather different from others, but everyone is fair game to be made fun of (including myself).
Just because I choose not to be overly critical of our current president does not mean that I am bowing at the altar of Obama. I'm also not the kind of person to use such language to describe those who do like the man. It's demeaning.
I prefer to wait a little longer before I arrive at an opinion since things aren't always what they seem or what you're told they are at first.

My husband is just really good at reading people. Being objective is not a strong point--but he just saw what was happening. Unfortunately I'm a word gal. So if I read "obamahandshakesnubbed" I'm automatically going to see that. It's totally my nature. I wasn't even happy to see him getting snubbed. I want our country respected...and if somebody refuses to shake our president's hand that isn't respect.

Yeah, but then she starts talking.
Someone had made mention of the fact that they need to make bumper stickers for her alleged campaign in 2012 and tie it into the alleged doomsday of 2012. Strange coincidence, no? :)

Cat, I saw multiple snubs at first too and admit to laughing.
But then it seemed strange to me that Fox HADN'T reported on it. So I watched it a few more times.
Funny how our take on things clouds what we think we see, eh?
But Piano, we DID question and look again. Wonder if many people did that for Bush? Ever.
Big difference, in order to slam Obama they had to use a doctored video, on many occasions Bush was naturally dumb. Example: the time he made believe he was looking for Weapons of Mass Destruction under the furniture. That was totally tasteless and stupid in view of the fact that young american soldiers were dying in Iraq looking for those non-existent WMD's.
