Blue Users get ready for Gold Rush

Message to Blue Members of the Singsnap Community. From Midnight Wednesday to Friday 8am (Singsnap Time) Singsnap will open the Gold Features for you to experience for a day. Blue Members will get to use Stereo Music track Recording, pitch shifting, Full screen Video etc.

Some of you blue members may still be using the 'traditional way' to record your songs. For those wanting to record using the stereo backing track. Here are some steps you will need to do:

1. To be done on your PC: change from stereo mix/what u hear/waveout mix to Microphone.
(this avoids double playback in preview and finished result)

Users with USB microphone will not need to do this.

2. To be done on the Singsnap recorder: Your Singsnap recorder will look slightly different. On the bottom right hand corner of your recorder to the left of the disabled camera button, you will see stereo backing track button make sure this box is checked.

3. When you have recorded your song and you are preview mode you must ensure Enable Music is checked.

Should you have any problems with the recording or the site you can contact site tech support via the following methods:

Just looking for some clarification.

Trevor said that we won't be able to remix songs with a stereo backing for "obvious reasons." Maybe I'm dense but what are the obvious reasons? I was planning to upgrade some of the tracks that I've done with the new mixer.

Just curious I'm not complaining (Thanks SS), I'll still be enjoying some of the gold songs.

Let me know if I misunderstood.

Well don't know if it's related but it fixed the one sided mono recording that would happen when a blue duets with a stereo recording (yay)

my guess is that the purpose of the Gold Rush is to allow everyone to try out all the features that a subscription has to offer... not to take advantage of the situation and *upgrade* previous recordings... heck, if you want something in stereo, just record it again today!!!!
