What are we looking for?

We are seeking new judges for SS GGO (Getcha' Gold On), The only official SS Contest for blue members only.

We are looking for:

Personality
Ability to be online at least a couple of hours per day for your listens when assigned.
Also to be in the thread and be able to add your wonderful personality in order to keep the contestants entertained.

Responsibility
When you say you will be there you will. Not just for a few days and then do a dissapearing act.
This may sound harsh but it happens many times over, we are looking for judges that will do what they say they are going to do after filling out our form. We are looking for permanant judges!

Being Absent
If an emergency comes up, we understand, however if it looks as though it will be permanent or long term please let us know and we will be able to find someone to take the spot.
If you are clever and have ideas for the contest we have a private locked judges corner for you to give us your ideas we will be happy to hear them.. don't hold back.

As an official SSSP Judge you will need to:
Make an anonymous new account for your judge
and select an appropriate photo. They can be fun or serious.
Have a look at our judges now to get some idea.

Participate in the judges corner and check in to let us know you are
here and ready to score.

Before you are put in a group to judge, you will be required to take a basic class with Judge Crabbs to learn to make banners, do updates, scoring and anything you wish to learn about the contest.
Please contact SS_Judge_Crabbs as soon as you are selected to become a judge.

Pitch
Emotion
Ability To Impress Judges

If you are chosen, we have a private judges corner where we all discuss different aspects of the contest. You will be added to this.

Last but very important, honest judging.
If you think you fullfill these requirements please post here and we will
send you the information to set up.
Please.. only serious apply!

After one month of judging, showing up in the thread, and sending your scores in on time, if you have a blue name you will be given a gold one, if your subscription runs out and you are still with us as a judge, you will be made gold again.

1.How would you rate your pc knowledge? beginner, intermediate , semi- professional, professional? Know how to Post a link? Cut & Past? Make a banner?
2.What is your favorite thing about SingSnap?
3.If a good friend of yours, that did not know you were a judge and entered one of the contests, could you honestly rate the performance with no bias?
4. How do you handle persons that act rude?
5. Do you think everyone can sing, they just need to find their style and be trained?
6. What would a close friend say is your best attribute?

7. Would you say you are a patient person when teaching someone the ropes on a new task?
8.Do you mind being a leader? Or do you prefer to asked to do a task?
9. The contestants check into the thread for the round they are in many times during the week, would you be able to go in at least once a day to encourage them along the way?
10. Approximately how many minutes-hours do you invest on Singsnap a week on your personal account singing and making visits and comments?
Other Info Needed: What part of the day are you Most available? mornings? afternoons? evenings? week-ends?
All our contests run on SingSnap time, which is the same as USA/est. ~What time-zone are you in?
