Remix option not working?

I have tried to remix the same recording 3 times and each time it tells me that the recording is being remixed, and it will take a few minutes. Then I'll listen to the recording and it has never remixed! It's been a good half hour now and it still hasn't remixed! Is there a problem with this remix option? This has happened to me before too. It's almost like I better make sure I mix it right the first time, because I won't be able to go back and remix it later. Can someone look into this and let me know?

Hi trish have you tried emptying the cache and then remixing it?

Thanks dragon for the suggestion. No I didn't think of emptying the cache. But what I noticed was after about 3 hours it remixed. So I will try to empty the cache the next time and see if it will remix faster. :-)

Hi trish,
Dragon's solution works.....the mixer gets easily hung up on old settings and the cache needs to be cleared so it can function again.

Thanks I tried emptying the cache tonight before I did a remix and it worked!! Thanks for the help guys.
