hi, there is a situation here in SS that needs prayer. A couple of them actually, but there is one that is really hurting me here. I won't mention any names,, but there is someone who feels a need to vilify me so as to shift guilt from himself to me for being 'naughty'. Vilifying me sure does not help but only compounds the wrongs done. there are people involved that this person doesn't want to know what he is doing. I'm not going to tell them,, but God sees and knows all. Please pray for this person to really come to the Light and be guided by Wisdom as to how to make amends and straighten it all out. Meanwhile, I'm leaving so to make space and avoid any more scapegoating.

[b]Hi all, I am posting this song here as it reminds so much of how we all fall short of the glory of God and he still lifts us after we fall. I can only imagine the shame that Peter felt when he denied Jesus that day. I imagine he was very ashamed and his heart was broken. I can also imagine the day that Jesus lifted him from his bowed head as it hung in shame. Wouldn't you love to just look into those eyes and know that he forgives you? I know we cant look directly into JHesus' eyes as Peter did, but we can sure look to heaven and know he is thewre waiting for us. The price he paid was a very dear one and I can never imagine my life without him. The sweet release you hear of in the song is exactly how you feel when you are borned again in Christ Jesus. You feel a very great burden has been lifted and the yes. the sweetest release ever. I would ask everyone in the world to give our Lord a chance. After all he gave us a chnce to live forever. I took my chance. I am not 100% perfect, but wlaking around in this world of sin, who could be? We just strive daily to do our best to serve him in the best way we can. Love and prayers to all. Debby[/b[

Sweetie leaving a situation only causes more room for scapegoating. The biggest scapegoat in the world was our own Lord and Savior. He took the sins of all and carried them to the cross. He never had to, but he chose to. Why? Because he loved us so much he didn't want to see us perish. Rethink your decision and pray for those who wrong you. The bible says that the more you pray for your enemies and the more they torment you, only heaps more coals for their heads in Hell fire. So they are only hurting themselves sweetie. Hang in there and God bless.

It is again another Monday and I praise God I was able to be a part of this day. I often wonder why there are times we are so grateful for God's blessings and other times we are very indifferent? Too many times we take for granted all the joys of life that our God has laid out for us. We forget to smell the roses. We forget to feel the warmth of the sun. We forget to be grateful for a light breeze on a sunny day. So many things we just assume are here for our benefit. But we could not in all honesty benefit from any of lifes simple pleasures without the loving hand of God. For he who made the Earth and all that is in it, is the same God who made you and me. We should always give thanks for the many little things that we enjoy today, because we may never see a tomorrow. So the next time you are feeling rushed or hurried , stop for a second and smell the roses. Have a blessed day. May god Bless and keep yopu always.*hugs* Debby

Another day to praise God in. Sorry I havent been around but I've been sick and so has my daughter; We would like to look at the word "grace". Let's begin by asking ourselves a few questions concerning grace. 1. What does the word grace mean? 2. What does the word grace not mean? 3. Who receives this grace? 4. By what means is it received? Let's begin with the nation Israel, God's covenant people. They found grace (or favor) with God for it was through them that God intended to establish His Kingdom here on the earth. God had given them favored-nation status, and they were to be instrumental and the channel of blessing in bringing all other nations back to Himself. Luke writes of these things in Acts 3:25-26, "Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, 'And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities." So God had given Israel favored-nation status, however His favor, His grace was something they were instructed and required to seek. Our Lord Jesus Christ exhorted them not to be like the other nations, but rather to: "seek, ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33) He told them, "Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." (Matthew 7: 7) If Israel would seek God and perform, they would find grace (or favor). "And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God." (Deuteronomy 28:1-2) So, in order to find grace (or favor) with God, it needed to be sought and performed. And by doing so, they demonstrated their faith concerning the things God had commanded them. The end result was finding favor (or grace) with God. But we know that they as a nation failed to measure up to the requirements of God. Time and time again they failed to seek His favor and perform what was required. Rather than seek Him they crucified Him, and rather than repent for it afterward they resisted, blasphemed and persecuted those who did. Paul wrote concerning Israel in Romans 10:2-3, " For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God righteouness and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." So as a result of their mind set, and going about to establish their own righteousness and not submitting to the righteousness of God, He has concluded them in unbelief and has temporarily set that program aside. "Well, because of unbelief they were broken off', "For God hath concluded them all in unbelief', "blindness in part is happened to Israel until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." (Romans 11:20, 33, 25) Israel has been TEMPORARILY set aside. This is evident by the word "until" in Romans 11:25. There are those who teach that God has permanently stopped dealing with the nation Israel, but there couldn't be anything further from the truth. Paul writes in Romans 11:1-2, "I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away his people which he foreknew." Should this Inspirational be a blessing and encouragement to you, why not send to a friend, coworker or, to your loved one who maybe defending the USA the Word of God is so needed in our troubled world. It is our heart at GRACE AND THE TRUTH and mission to reach as many people as we possibly can TO SHARE with them the Word of God and all that the Lord Jesus Christ has done for members of the body of Christ.

It' wonderful to see so many folks standing up for the Lord! I heard today: 1) During a memorial for a Marine killed in battle, a Bank of America branch manager ordered people to remove the American flags from the route. 2) The White House issued orders to the insurance companies to stop writing to their insured opposing the government-run, multi-trillion dollar insurance plan. Freedom of speech, freedon of religion! Will they try to close the churches next? God bless you all, Jim

I recently visited a thread where the discussion on the bible is varying from many different things. I never realized how much you needed the word of God every day to fight off ole Satan. I also realized that I needed to study more. After about 4 posts in the thread I realized that I couldn't remember where things were in the bible. I never was one good at quoting verse for verse, but I at least did know what book to look in. This time I didn't even remember that. You know as a christian we need to be prayed up and we need to study every day. Our adversaries are out there everywhere just waiting to get a hold of us. I actually for once was ashamed at myself for not knowing my Lords word. I had forgotten to put on my Armour. I will post more later. Every one PLEASE stay in God's word, let us put on the Armour of God so that we are ready to face our adversaries and not be backed down. PRAISE GOD this Sunday morning!!!! *hugs* Your sister in Christ,Debby
I have an urge to pray earnestly for someone who visits this site. I dont know who you are but God does and I pray that God reach down and take this burden that is keeping you from being well. I ask that the healing power of Jesus blood be bestowed upon you!! My friend all you need do is reach up and he will reach down. Not our will but Gods will be done. Amen.
Here we are on a Monday morning and I am already praising God for a beautiful Day. Any day that I get up I can say Praise you Lord for giving me another day of life. I have had times when I think "Dear Lord" Why me? If you have ever faced one of those days then you know that ole satan will attack you with everything that he can. I have had the past come back to bother me, but I know what it is and rebuke it. In the name of Jesus we have the power to defend ourselves against powers of darkness and we do get hit by them. But by calling out to Jesus and by rebuking them in his name we rid ourselves of these adversaries.
We need the whole armour of God to defeat our enemies, our armour is having our loins girt about with the truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness, our feet are shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, and we have the sheild of faith,( to doge any fiery darts from the wicked)we take on the helmet of salvation, and use the sword of the spirit(which is the word of God) We need to pray always and stay in the word so as to have it upon our hearts in time of trouble. Peace and Love to you all this Monday morning.*hugs* Debbie

hi, there is a situation here in SS that needs prayer.

Another day to praise God in. Sorry I havent been around but I've been sick and so has my daughter;
We would like to look at the word "grace".
Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities."
So God had given Israel favored-nation status, however His favor, His grace was something they were instructed and required to seek. Our Lord Jesus Christ exhorted them not to be like the other nations, but rather to: "seek, ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33) He told them, "Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." (Matthew 7: 7)
If Israel would seek God and perform, they would find grace (or favor). "And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God." (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)
So, in order to find grace (or favor) with God, it needed to be sought and performed. For they being ignorant of God righteouness and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God."
So as a result of their mind set, and going about to establish their own righteousness and not submitting to the righteousness of God, He has concluded them in unbelief and has temporarily set that program aside. "Well, because of unbelief they were broken off', "For God hath concluded them all in unbelief', "blindness in part is happened to Israel until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." (Romans 11:20, 33, 25)
Israel has been TEMPORARILY set aside. God has not cast away his people which he foreknew."
Should this Inspirational be a blessing and encouragement to you, why not send to a friend, coworker or, to your loved one who maybe defending the USA the Word of God is so needed in our troubled world.

We need the whole armour of God to defeat our enemies, our armour is having our loins girt about with the truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness, our feet are shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, and we have the sheild of faith,( to doge any fiery darts from the wicked)we take on the helmet of salvation, and use the sword of the spirit(which is the word of God)
We need to pray always and stay in the word so as to have it upon our hearts in time of trouble. Peace and Love to you all this Monday morning.*hugs* Debbie
