Actually, I think Obama will win the Democratic nomination.

And if people elect him, he will raise taxes...which makes absolutely no sense, since the Democrats are the first to complain about Republicans raising taxes!

If it's a choice between Obama and McCain, McCain would be wise to choose Rice as a running mate. ;)

I'm in the lower middle of the upper-left quadrant, no surprise either that I have no political party, there really is none for socialists here, unlike in Europe. My candidate according to this would be Dennis Kuccinnich, who I would support if he ever had a chance.
In the company, approx., of Musique, Wicca, and PPSH, as usual on most political topics.

Lol! Unfortunately, it seems at times, neither do a lot of American voters, who seem to vote more on candidate's looks, personality, rather than their positions on issues. Seriously, this has got to be the case since most voters still admit in studies and surveys that they base their voting choices mostly on 30-second TV ads from the candidates. BTW, you're not missing much on where these American candidates stand since Dennis K. is the only one listed for you that actually has stood for the same things for over 20 years. He's really a Socialist/Green who stays in the Democratic Party, America's version of Labour, for reasons beyond me. He wants single-payer health care, much like Canada, free college educ. for all, much more public transit and alternative energy development, vast reduction of the military, much higher taxes for the rich and corporations, and best of all, to repeal NAFTA and similar job-outsourcing trade agreements as well as withdrawing from the WTO. As Billy Bragg would say, a true worker's paradise, lol! In fact, Dennis keeps calling his proposed presidency " a worker's White House". You can imagine how the US media have always treated him even worse than they do Ron Paul now.
