Class of Many Years Gone By Challenge!

Hey Everyone!

There has been some preparation beforehand for this challenge...but nothing YOU can't do quickly! Please continue...

Scan your high school or equivalent photo into your profile, pick out and sing a song in the era of your highest grade completed, and post the link to it so we can all go and listen! ALL AGES WELCOME!!

You'll need to listen to everyone's entry because on June 14, (Saturday), you'll be asked to send your vote for best singer (1 vote for male, 1 for female) in to the class secretary for a tally to determine who will win, King, and Queen of this event. PLEASE DO NOT VOTE OPENLY IN THE FORUM. SEND YOUR VOTE TO THE DESIGNATION PERSON WHEN ASKED.

No heavy competition. Just a lot of fun, and a great chance to see some of your favorite singers on here, back in the the day!

About a week or so after the event, a link will be provided to all participants to see the complete SingSnap Class of 2008! The elected King and Queen will be at the top of the photo.

Rules:

1. Only 1 OFFICIAL ENTRY per person, although you can post as many songs as you want from your era. Just mark the one clearly that you want to enter as MY OFFICIAL ENTRY...and please don't change that designation after marking it.

2. Duets with other participants are allowed for an Official Entry, in which case both will be shown as King or Queen if winning.

3. You may produce your entry with video or graphic, or nothing.

4. Request: Please comment while you are listening to other participants songs. Keep it lively and fun!

5. Periodically there will be special announcements by the school secretary, Mrs. ShagNasty, or the Principal, Mr. FinkleBottom. Look for their links and instructions. They will have specific things for certain individuals to do.

6. Making out in the parking lot IS acceptable, because at the age some of us are, we'll take any excitement we can get!

7. Smoking IS permitted in the rest rooms, providing you don't get caught. That will never change!

8. Be sure to leave your school photo on throughout the coming week so that it can be captured for the larger class photo.

Note: Mrs_ShagNasty, Mr_FinkleBottom, and AardvarkBark are coordinators and not participants in the contest. However, these people will be adding things throughout the week while this program airs!!! Everyone else is FAIR GAME.

Hey MissPatty! You're looking SWELL!

I can't believe we ever used those terms! LOL! Patty, you would have been in my sister's class, 3 years behind me (ya little kid you!!) ha! You look fantastic!! Heading out to hear your song in a second!

Unless we hear from more people over the next week, it looks like we may have a class the size of a small town my daughter graduated in....a class of 9! She was the last class to graduate there before they tore the old school down.

This is a beauty pageant! Just look at the girls here! Billy up there..OMG...a knockout just like all the rest! Wow! Rick....I wouldn't go fishin too soon. Uh uhhhh...I'm stayin RIGHT HERE!! mmmm! THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!

Let's loosen it up and ask that anyone who stops by, regardless if you have a photo scanned....post a song (pre-recorded or otherwise) done in your school era. If you do have a photo, you can enter the contest....but we'd like to hear your music either way!

Also...be sure to check back frequently throughout the week. The Principal, and School Secretary will be giving assignments out randomly, so you won't want to miss any of that.

Those who wish to get up on the old stage and belt out a duet with another class member throughout the week, or have a special presentation....PM me with the details so I can announce the performance!
