12 Steps Of Recovery:
Step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over our addiction…THAT our lives have become about the mic.
Step 2 - Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity, YEAH RIGHT, will that be color coded or duet?
Step 3 - Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood God, because even God loves karaoke HE HAS A 15 OCTAVE RANGE. HEAR THAT MARIAH….
Step 4 - Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves….and realized YUP karaoke is the answer.
Step 5 - Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs…. UNTIL we got the key changer, then FORGET IT.
Step 6 - Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character, UNTIL he made the 11th commandment of THOU SHALL SINGETH SINGSNAPPETH UNTL THOUST CANTETH SPEAKETH
Step 7 - Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings…LIKE THE Ab IN MUSIC OF THE NIGHT
Step 8 - Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all…BANNERING THEM AND JOINING THEIR OPEN DUETS
Step 9 - Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others…LIKE SKIPPING IMMUNITY CHALLENGES
Step 10 - Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it…ADMIT A SONG IS TOO HARD? NEVER!!!
Step 11 - Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood God, praying only for knowledge of God's will for us and the power to carry that out…THROUGH SONGS LIKE ANGEL FROM SARAH MCLACHLAN
Step 12 - Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs…HEY COME JOIN SINGSNAP IT ROCKS AND SNAPAHOLICS ANONYMOUS IS THE BEST CONTEST EVER.

If not, then as the angel there expresses, we are sad to see you go. So many of you who sent in scores this round said how hard a process it is to choose people to leave our contest! We become a community here., but as awful a process as it is, we need to get down to a single set of finalists, and then eventually, a single champion. We say again, if your name is not on the list then you are no longer competing in the contest. You are welcome to return, visit, chat, mingle.

THEME FOR ROUND 5 IS Judges Brew… One Lump or Two?

This round , the judges have picked some of their favorite songs for you to sing.

Your task is simple. Men choose a number 1-18. Ladies choose a number 1-18. Once a number is picked it’s G O N E . Judges will then post your song selection on the thread. Then YOU MAY record your song. You do NOT need to put it on private. BUT YOU MUST WAIT to post it until you have the green light from judges!

IMMUNITY ROUND
(read VERY carefully)

~No doors this immunity round. This time it’s all in the JUDGES ARCHIVES.
~There will be 9 immunities open to anyone.

YOUR TREASURE HUNT: Each judge has pre-selected 3 songs from their archives. Find the song, sing it, post it and you will win IMMUNITY if your guess is correct.

Here is the CATCH: You only get 1 GUESS! Yup, that’s right. Once you make a guess, you cannot make another guess unless everyone has attempted a guess and judges allow a second guess. NOT ONE PER JUDGE, ONE PERIOD.

Judges will be dropping hints in EVERYTHING they say on the threads. The clues will be vague or obvious or total trickery. Yup, we aren’t making it easy.

Again, immunity is optional, but it’s your butt.

Once you make your choice, IMMUNITY GUESSES MUST BE POSTED AS SUCH:

SNAPAHOLICS RULE BOOK

Strange as it may seem, each one of the following rules is something we have encountered in past contests. Each one became “an issue”. So a rule was made around it. Please read this entire list of simple DON’Ts.

1. No Duets or harmonies (unless required)
2. No Augmenting key or pitch EXCEPT using SS key changer.
3. No Acapella
4. No duplicates of songs. If it has been done BY ANYONE else, do another.
5. Post your required song by the deadline.
6. If you have picked one, post your immunity song by the deadline
7. Make sure your songs are NOT on private when it comes time to vote.
8. Vote when the time comes, in the proper format, and turn them in ON TIME!

We’d hate to see any more people lost to technical DQ! So please, obey the rules.

1. If you need a small extension, notify us BEFORE deadline, not after.
2. Graphic images of ANY form are NOT to be over 350x350 unless it is by judges.
3. Seriously, resize your images! The graphics monster is a biznatch!
4. Contestants are not to use BB code. It’s nifty, but leave it for judges.
5. Only judges and captains may post song lists.
6. No Drama Allowed -NONE-Zero-NADA-ZIP
7. Do NOT BANNER COMMENT songs. If you can't take the time to comment, then don't, but leave the banners for other contests please.

So does this mean we don't have to post our immunity songs with our round songs??? And also...(yes I'm lacking sleep and probably asking too much right now lol) but does the immunity songs go like previous rounds and once someone has done them no one else can??

You DO NOT post them together. In fact, we would appreciate it greatly if you did NOT. Post your round song individually from your immunity song. REMEMBER, your immunity hunt must provide your link to the version you have performed as well as the judge's link:)
