Hi
well heres my contribution .It has been the hardest song I have ever tried to sing .Im not ashamed to admit that it brought me to tears causing me to redo over n over .End result still sung with lump in my throat.
The words of this song must be what everyone caught up in war and its atrocities wonders.
None of our servise men and women want to be out there fighting .They are just ordinary sons daughters brothers sister aunts uncles mums dads who have chosen to try and protect us all from those who would commit haenus crimes of inhumanity against innocent people as in 9/11. They are all heroes every last one .

this is dedicated to the service members over seas and the families they left behind. I live in Texas just outside og Fort Hood the largest army post in the free world all my neighbors are either military or retired military, ?I see the hurt, stress and pain not to mention hardships these folks indure so this is for them

What a great idea for a choice of a round! Actually got on a plane after the first tower was hit, we thought it was a small plane and ended up getting diverted to Ft. Wayne Indiana. Everything was over by the time I got a rental car to drive back to Columbus Ohio....

THe song chosen - Behind Blue eyes represents the heroes behind the closed walls of the Twin Towers who perished in the 9-11 tragedy. This commemorates the fact that America was misunderstood by the terrorist factions who tried to physically destroy the fabric of American life - but succeeded initially to cause America to become sad as a nation and bad in the eyes of the perpetrators while in the end - the American vibrancy and life carried on with the beautiful blue eyes of hope creating the path to renewed building of a nation hurt but never the spirit destroyed.

ladymannie-I chose this one due to the fact that so many have fought and died because of so many different faiths. I would have gone with Give peace a Chance or Imagine but I didn't have that option, so I only hope that My link will stay put for a while!!! LOL..........
