LeadBelly lot's of snow

I know they are not wildly popular but I do think there is a need for some new Springsteen and Dylan songs There has not been an ad for these artists in a very long time. I hope to see more of the Boss and Bob up soon.

I share your interest, as do a lot of fellow boomers, but the fact is that there really isn't anything new from those two guys that can be added to SS, for two reasons. First, there hasn't been much from either artist added to karaoke at all in the last six months, at least to my knowledge. I check the web pretty regularly looking for new releases from these guys. Very little new from Dylan and about the only source of more than a song or two from Springsteen is a Pocket Songs disc, a label SS doesn't use, that has about all of his new album Devils And Dust. But the catch is, that PS disc doesn't have graphics or lyrics on it, like a lot of PS discs. Which is one reason SS will probably never use PS.

The other reason is that both these guys have notoriously been fairly picky about what they'll allow for karaoke release. It tends to go in spurts of allowing some, then not allowing any with those two.

Hope this is helpful. BTW, my fantasy picks would be Atlantic City, The Ghost Of Tom Joad, and Mary's Place from Bruce. From Bob, it would be Most Of The Time, Ballad Of A Thin Man, and Masters Of War.

Come to think of it, maybe you and I could lobby SS, right here on this thread, to buy the Legends disc, Vol. 224, Dylan & Donovan. It would add the following songs from Bob to SS:

All Along The Watchtower, Hurricane, Don't Think Twice It's Alright, Hurricane, Mr. Tambourine Man, It's All Over Now Baby Blue-the one I want-, It Ain't Me Babe, and A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall.
From Donovan, it would add Season Of The Witch.
