Match TWENTY EIGHT - The League of Extraordinary Snappers

Welcome once more Extraordinary Snappers & a special congratulations to Dayne & Katie this time round for doing the League proud in the recent SP final…2nd & 3rd was a great result & a testiment to the quality of contestants in the Leagues :))))))

Now, regarding this round, just 3 from the end of the season…as many of you will know, I’m a big fan of duets & always have a selection of Open Duets available…so this round I want you ALL to sing with me (individually!!!! I hate to imagine the sound quality dropout if we tried to get 60 people singing on the same song!!!) You don’t have to use one of the open duets, many of which are with me doing the harmony & just requiring a lead vocal, if you don’t want to…you can add a harmony to any of my other songs, or be silly with me on one of my character songs…the choice is yours. You will be judged on the usual categories, plus whatever else applies for the song you pick, so if you go for a classical piece, you’ll be judged on classical style, if you go for a funny song, you’ll be judged on comedic interpretation…if you go for a rock song you’ll be judged on energy, etc And since I always listen to duets done with me, once the round is over I shall be listening to all of you (unless you are submitting a prerecord you’ve already done with me, which a fair few of you have!!!) :))))))

Round 30 will run from the end of Round 29 until 7pm SS time on Tuesday 21st October. It’s the big finale to the contest, the 30th & final round which will tell us who has won each league…so the only way we could end the contest is of course with your very very VERY best song (or rather the very very very best song you haven’t already used!). There are NO restrictions here…anything, any genre, any artist, any time period…bring your absolute ultimate best to the table…I want to see 100s (& 40s) across the board this time :))))))

And remember…no leeway on this round…when 7pm SS time falls on Oct 21st the League ends…any entries NOT in by then will be no shows & I will pick a recording at random from anyone who fails to submit an entry!

The following people have all expressed an interest in taking part in the next season of the League...this will probably happen in the early part of next year & will be similar to this season except the leagues will be smaller & the rounds will be longer...there will be only 1 week's leeway (for legitimate reasons ONLY!!), but there will be a whacking 3 weeks notice on upcoming rounds.
