milesofborg 2008 ss awards http://www.singsnap.com/snap/forum/topic/b426554Welcome to the auditions for Tour 2 of the KAM Roadshow…some people will know about the original Tour, the KM Roadshow, which happened in the early part of the year…well we’re back! Bigger & better!
This is the idea…we are taking 150 auditionees…75 of whom will make the contest. You will be split into three groups…Katie’s Kitties, Anna’s Bananas & Miles’ Megastars. Within each group you are competing against everyone else. At the end of each round a number of you will be cut until we are left with 3 in each group, then the remaining 9 will go head to head in the final.
Each group is judged by your group’s judge…Katie (caterina), Anna (Ida-Fina) or me. At the end of each round you will receive an honest critique on your song on the thread. After the auditions are over there will be 5 rounds, a semi final & a final. The rounds will last between 3 & 5 days depending on the difficulty & the stage of the contest.
There will be prizes for the top 3 at the end of the contest.
For the audition round you may enter anything you like, prerecords are fine…during the contest itself you will be required to do a recording specifically for that round…there will be a theme for each round & we will want to try to test you at times throughout the contest…the last Tour had rounds such as a capella , harmony & random songs…so expect something similar this time!!!
We’re looking for hard trying, “no-drama” contestants prepared to stick with the contest & submit on time…we have fun as the contest goes on, but we are serious about the judging & the critiques.
Last time round the Tour was won by Yas, with Diva_Dayna & CarrieZohn coming in 2nd & 3rd…anyone familiar with these singers will understand the calibre & talent you will be up against!!! Please do NOT enter if you are not prepared to receive an honest critique at the end of each round, or prepared to stick with the contest for the duration…other than that, everyone is welcome….jump on board the Roadshow…it’s going to be one hell of a ride!!!
Auditions will run until at LEAST the 22nd October...we will stop shortly after that or when we have 150 auditionees.

This is my first time judging but I'm a contest junkie as a contestant and I've been singing (solo and in choirs, in the shower and on stage lol) almost all my life, and on here for little over a year now :)
When the first K.M. Roadshow was running I was a contestant and found the concept of it both fun and meaningful. I'm excited to be here as a judge this time around and I can't wait to jump aboard and be blown away by you all ;) Bring your best to the table (sorry, road lol), keep an open mind when it comes to the critique and don't forget to have FUN!! :D

And thank you so much Jules for putting the list together!! It sure makes it a lot easier both for us judges and for those of you who want to check out the competition! (Which can proove to be a smart move lol)
Don't worry if you don't get any judge's banners on your song straight away - we will probably try and listen to as many entries as possible at the same occation, so that we're in the same mood or frame of mind listening to all of you, thus making the judging as fair as possible :))
