Pass The Mic - My Favorite Things!

THE MAIN POINT of THIS CHALLENGE, is to STEP OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE and attempt songs you normally never would!!
Its all about FUN!! There is no judging, just FUN, plain and simple...:)

In this challenge, You will be handed a microphone preset with 1 of 2 songs which fit Theme(s)..

How does it work?
-- You lay claim to your ONE song choice of the two available in the last post
-- You record it OR bring back a pre-recording of the song...

(If you sing a NEW song, it would be very nice, although not required, if you would LINK to the challenge. Simply paste the following in your song description, including the pointy brackets.

-- Then post the link to your song, including the Song Title, and artists name in the thread.
(Follow the format of my next post as an example)
-- Then post your own request(s) which replaces the song you sang, plus you have the choice to keep the song you did not choose, OR post an entirely different one to complete the choice of two songs in the Challenge to be carried on!

*- Songs not sung and posted within 2 hours after they were claimed will be eligible for claiming again...

Choice #1 will be a favorite song - As in one of the songs you've flagged as a favorite on this site.

Choice #2 will be done a bit differently - Give us a link to a favorite recording from one of your favorite SingSnappers. That song will be our new request, and we'll have a chance to discover new favorites of our own. :)

It's a first come, first sing basis. So if you want to sing, LAY CLAIM!

NO DUET REQUESTS ALLOWED!!
(Be careful, sometimes duets aren't obvious.. double-check your selection)

PLEASE POST ARTIST NAME AND TITLE OF SONG REQUESTED!
The Link to record is nice but not required.

MOST IMPORTANT!!
PLEASE MAKE SURE SS offers the song you want to hear before requesting it, ~AND~ that it is NOT a GOLD ONLY song!!
(Those have a graphic stating "Gold" on the songlist)

Some songs at SingSnap are available ONLY to Gold Members.
Since Blue members cannot even listen to recordings of these songs... If you wish to add a gold bonus song, request it as a THIRD option... **GOLD REQUEST** Gold bonus songs may be sung, but the singer does NOT replace the song requests, unless they sing one of the basic requests as well... The GOLD request is to be treated as a BONUS. NOT as part of the challenge.

I'd already come up with this theme for this week before this song was requested yesterday.. so I made it my "Bonus Exposure" song for this week....

(Unfortunately, no one sang it... So I made it fit the theme even MORE by finding one of my favorites who sang it! :)
