Welcome to Round 10 at the Grand Ole’ Opry! What a great last Round! You have really made it tough on the judges. Scores were really tight. Unfortunately we are going to have to say good-bye to 5 of our ladies and 5 of our gentlemen to get to our 10 in each group. I will not announce the eliminations because I think all of you are winners and hope that you will continue to share your songs with us at Tootsies for these remaining 2 rounds. All of you have shown that there is some outstanding talent here on SingSnap and in this contest. I know it’s always disappointing but none of you should feel any less talented because all of you are so gifted with a wonderful God-Given talent. We started out with 122 contestants. Everyone has come so far. I want to thank each of you for making this such an enjoyable experience. I’ll only be announcing the 10 from each group who are moving on for competition this round.
In this round 3 winners will be chosen from each group…1st, 2nd and 3rd places (Female and Male). These 6 contestants will receive trophies at the end of Round 11. The places will not be announced at the beginning of Round 11 but if you are one of the 6 moving on to Round 11 you know you own one of those trophies. All trophies will be awarded at the end of Round 11. Scores are really tight right now so there is a possibility that any of the 3 places from either group could come back in Round 11 and take the Grand Champ Trophy. Your score from Round 9 has been brought with you to this round to be averaged with the score you receive this round to determine who will be our top 3 from each group. I had a request from a couple of judges to ask that some of you make sure your vocals are above the music….they had a hard time hearing a few of you in the last round because the music was overpowering your vocals some. So let them hear that voice!

WINNER OF ROUND 9 “BLUE TO GOLD CHALLENGE” My chosen number was “6”. I shared this number with Sweetheart12 before I posted the last round and she can confirm that we are both in agreement on the winner. Only postings of main song entry were counted from the blue contestants and entries to Tootsies were counted for our former blue contestants.

In this round we are going to feature our last 12 Grand Ole’ Opry Members. As I stated in the previous rounds the Grand Ole’ Opry is still a “Man’s World”. Again we have only one Woman Opry Member but she has lots of songs to choose from and since there are no gender rules here the ladies may sing any of the songs from the male artists as well.
You will choose one of the artists listed. NO DUETS!
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO VOTE THIS ROUND. All scoring for the next 2 rounds will be done by our panel of judges. Scores will be added with the lowest score being thrown out and then averaged. We should be announcing our Winners and Grand Champion at this time next week.
Deadline for all song entries will be Wednesday night at 7:00pm , Oct. 8th. (SingSnap Time).
I’m asking our panel of judges to have their scores to me by Thursday night, Oct 9th at 7:00pm (SingSnap Time) so we can get Round 11 (Final Round) posted that night.

Rules for Round 10…..
1. Rule # 1 – READ THE RULES! If you do not understand something I will be happy to help you but you must read them!
2. All songs….”entries and shared” must be from the list of given artists. Only (1) shared song per contestant at Tootsie’s and any former contestant may submit (2) shared songs at Tootsie’s if you would like. This is an option…You do not have to post a shared song.
3. You must post your song before deadline or sadly you will be disqualified. No PreRecords – Must be fresh recordings with a date and time stamp after this round is posted.
4. You are still in two groups….Ladies and Gentlemen. This is your last round of being in Gender Groups. Since you do not have to score or vote now you are not required to listen to anyone but I do encourage everyone to support their fellow contestants and our singers who are posting at Tootsies and give them a listen and a comment. Everyone loves to be heard and if you don’t listen then you are going to be missing some great entertainment.

When I saw my name, honestly tears came to my eyes because I never ever thought I would make it this far. But as happy as I am that I made it, I'm equally as sad that we lost so many fantastic singers, and one of my special personal favorites.
