LadyDi821 try looking on the bright side.. it's there if you look. :)
Who are shoe freaks.. And especially for Betty as she missed this thread..
Post the shoes you love or have in your closet.
These are some I own. Or are my style of shoe I like to wear.
Post boots.. flats. heels. Whatever. I know you are out there ... Share with me one of my favorite things to buy LOL.
I own these and I love them
Ankle boot.. I wear them with jeans or dress pants.. Even looks great with a pencil skirt.
These look so much better in person.. 3 shades of gray from darker to lighter. Can be worn with jeans, especially looks good with skinny jeans or a skirt.
You ladies dont' want to see all of my shoes. lol. They're mostly old, muddy, wrecked up farm boots, some tennis shoes, flip flops, and maybe a pair or two of cute slip ons..but nothing special. Not in THIS lifestyle of mine.

Beth.. You can post pictures of shoes you like too ya know....Don't cry.. No crying allowed in a shoe thread.. Like there is no crying in baseball LOL :)
Why are many women so crazy for shoes??? I'll probably NEVER understand!!??? For me, shoestores are outposts from hell! I only buy shoes when I really have to, and it is NO FUN at all. What the hell am I doing wrong?

The cool thing about Zappos' site is that you can look at your shoes from all different angles. I LOVE Zappos!
Mel, I hear ya.
My thing with shoes is that I can't wear high heels, I have worn out, old, flat feet. lol. And I tend to get heel spurs, so I can't go barefoot anymore...which used to be my preferred status for my feet!! But since I can't, and I now HAVE to wear shoes most of the time, I may as well enjoy it.
Thank you for this great topic. Like all ladies, I just LOVE my shoe collection. Recently I went into the cedar closet and stashed away my lighter weight summer shoe selection. End of Oct is when I retrieve my fall wardobe (and some matching accessories) that are just to DIE for ! These are semi-formal, and they go nicely with my camel skirt, and brown tones. They are quite versatile and offer good ankle support
My dressy collection I save for those formal nights like the dates with those real hunks..HUBBA HUBBA !!! While alligator shoes tend to run into big bucks, I usually purchase mine at Marshall's and Felines Basement...I always wear my matching watchband with these and they really make a statement ! A lady MUST accessorize !
When I want to give off the message that I'm available I show some skin, not enough to ruin that "provocative" look (if you know what I mean) but just enough to show people that there's a pot of gold just waiting for the right person... and I'm sure it's understandable how one would find flashing just some skin in the right places sensual and subliminally seductive !
Is it the velcro that cheapens the style ? You'd be suprised !! It really does offer good support ! I know it's funny but velcro is now used on these classy styles too !
Now before you laugh, let me say I know some don't consider patent leather en vogue, however November and December can be very wet months in Southern New England, and I don't like it when heavy boots cover my stylish looks, so I splurge on the water proof ritzy line of high fashion !
For those that are wondering about these prior to making such a costly purchase, yes, the red bow has interchangeable options and colors ! I just wish the frilly doily came in soft pink :(
Di, I'd have trouble with those first three pair on escalators, and during beach volleyball. This is what I prefer about not having such elevated heels !
my favorite pair of shoes are my most comfy pair....sketchers i discovered while cruising the streets of NYC over the summer in a pair of heels...that comfort rules
Means skechers low top boots are quite affordable, offer decent support at around 60-100 bucks they are a decent value.. While they can be problematic if you accidently step on a sink hole, or get caught in a tsunami, they are pretty good and affordable ! I need really good arch support, that's where I run into probs... very wide feet.

btw- Skechers has outlet stores and I'd try them perhaps in NY but depending on how costly the particular shoes you like are, I'm one who loves outlet stores (price point) assuming they carry the line you want
I wont spend the money on costly sneakers anymore. Puma, Addidas, Nike, ALL of the name brands are costly and I go thru a pair in under two months.. They just aren't durable for those of us that walk a great deal..
I buy shoes that won't split or have a hole in the bottom in a month or two.. If I have a comfortable pair I wear them constantly. I don't alternate so I put a lot of wear on one pair of walking shoes, so they need to be sturdy and offer decent orthopedic support.
Lately, It's critical I have footwear conducive to typing in here :)
