****SPRING FLING ANY GENRE AUDITION – ONE ROUND***
Hello everyone and welcome to our spring contest. This will be a one round contest only!
We will take the first 20 people – 10 Female and 10 Male.
We want you to sing a song that pertains to spring. It can be any genre. Below is a list of suggestions that you may or may not use that pertain to spring…you may find other words. Then use the words in the TITLE, ARTIST OR SONG . The song you submit should make the judges feel like dancing around the spring flowers or smelling the fresh air from spring. That should give you an idea of what kind of song we are looking for. Some of the words below you may use, but do not have to use, are just examples.

Grass
Flowers
Rainbows
Bloom (ing)
Picnic
BONUS POINTS:
1.) You will earn an extra 5 pts if in 25 words or less you tell how you feel about spring and how spring makes you feel. These will be read and judged by the judges and the best story will receive the 5 bonus pts. PUT YOUR REMARKS OF THE STORY ON THE THREAD!!
2.) For an extra 5 pts you will use as many of the letters in S*P*R*I*N*G as you can to make words. Only the person that makes the most words will win the 5 pts. PM IRISHBELLE THIS BONUS…DO NOT PUT THIS ONE ON THE THREAD AS OTHERS MAY COPY IT!!
YOUR JUDGES WILL BE:
Bluegrassdelight, Angileegirl and Irishbelle
RULES:
1. You may sing any genre, just keep it clean.
2. Prerecords are allowed in audition only. Fresh song for round # 1.
3. You must listen to all contestants or you WILL NOT win. There are only 20 after all.
4. Please be courteous to your fellow contestants.
5. If you have any problems pm one of the host…DO NOT POST ON THREAD…
6. You will be DQ’d if you do not have your song in on time, no exceptions unless you pm a judge.
7. Automatic DQ for use of foul language or foul graphics.
8. Feel free to post spring graphics, clean jokes or spring poems.
MANNER IN WHICH YOU WILL BE JUDGED:
1-10 PTS: SELECTION OF SONG, INTERPRETATION IN RELATION TO THE THEME.
1-10 PTS: EMOTION DISPLAYED IN SONG.
1-20 PTS: VOCALS, PITCH, TIMING, TONE AND VOICE INFLECTION.
THERE WILL BE THREE AWARDS GIVEN FOR PLACEMENT:
1ST PLACE – TROPHY
2ND PLACE – BANNER
3RD PLACE – BANNER
ALL CONTESTANTS WILL RECEIVE A PARTICIPATION AWARD.
This round will be over in 4 days…Sunday, 29th @ 10:00 p.m. SS time or when everyone has their songs in.

Well Spring is my favorite time of the year.....It seems to me that life renews itself in the Spring and we all can renew ourselfs also...Maybe we've had some hard time over the winter but when Spring comes....its like renewal time for all of us....to get a new start in what we want in life...and what we want for our families....Seeing all the budding trees and flowers....is Gods way of telling us to START OVER.......DO IT MY WAY.......
