Okay...I know there was a thread on this...but did the search thing...and nothing...and looked through about 20 pages of off topic...but couldn't find it...(just like I couldn't find Di's "House" thread either when I looked the other day..?)
But..I LOVE this show! (my second fav next to House) And just wanted to know of any Grey's Anatomy fans out there....
Did you see the season finale Thursday night?? To me....it was SO good...and the second half was so dramatic....
The poor guy stuck in all that concrete....how awful!!
And Callie grabbing and kissing the other female doctor...lol (forget what her name is...but I don't like her much...)
And then Meredith & Derek...in the end with all the candles.....
The second half of this show.....made me cry big time.....

Grey's Anatomy is one of my favorite shows...a lot of sex but a lot of good stories as well. I didn't like the Callie kiss with Dr Hann..I sure hope they don't pursue this story line when the season starts again..can't we have any programs without the "gay" infulence. Beside that, I thought the finale was great...can't wait for the new season...

Yep, Alex has always been such a hard-ass, one track mind type of guy. It was refreshing to see the more human side to his character....
I LOVED it when Dr. Yang told Dr. Hann...to shut up. About friggin' time!!! hehe...
The guy that was stuck in the concrete, how weird!! Kinda reminded of something that would happen on House. Although House tends to lean more toward the impossible solutions to the most bizarre medical conditions...
The bf of the girl with brain surgery....pretty predictable...that he wasn't going to make it.That was sad....
And I agree...Jenkins...I thought the same about Callie & Dr. Hann. I'm wondering if they intend to pursue that story line..might loose a few viewers...dunno there. But you knew this was coming...the attraction was building up. Just like you knew Meredith & Derek would get back together. It was inevitable....awwwww....:-)

You really think people would stop watching a show because of a bi-sexual storyline? Is the world really THAT judgmental that they would stop watching a fictional television show because of a (likely temporary) plot line? Lawd have Mercy...
I was also happy the Chief went home... I was worried Adelle (sp?) would have had another man over for dinner there for a second... *phew* ...
AND lastly... When Meredith was so angry... HAHAHA ... Totally something I would do and say....

I think the writers are pretty darn good. Seems to be a pretty popular show...
I know a lot of times...I'm laughing right out loud at the bits of humor they throw in through all the drama....

I'm so glad Derek and Meridith are going to try to work it out. I told the Meredite when she was talking to the psychiatrist about being extraordinary that it meant her relationships (of couse she didn't listen...they never listen).
I think Hahn is threated by Christine and that is why she doesnt want to teach her. I think she KNOWS that Christina is the Shiznit...when it all boils down to it. Yang just doesn't have the experience (on paper) everyone knows she did those surgeries, she just got no credit for it. Burke was an ass.
What has happened to the George/Izzy story line? I blinked and must have missed it? are they togehter I know he uninvited her to the party because it was her interns but what happened to them. They went to bed, it was awful, they tried to hard, it was still awful...so what, they just gave up?
Do you think there is something coming with Lexi and George? She seemed like she was thinking about that kis after he kissed her, she touched her lips.
Ok, I'm sure I've written a novel, autographs on Sunday at 11 only please. Please have your book open to the correct page.

Her comment to Meredith while she was doing an operation......"If you lie to me again, the next heart you'll see will be your own as I cut it out of your chest with a steak knife!" ....Yikes.......
I really don't get Callie's fascination with her at all....she just seems SO cold & aloof! Only thing I can see....is it must be her intelligence she's attracted to......lol
And when Callie was discussing how to behave on her date with Erica...with Miranda.......did that ever make me laugh out loud!!! :-D
Where she referred to Erica's womanly parts as the Northern mountains and the southern valley (I think?)

How WEIRD is this show getting???!
Interns doing surgery among themselves???
Meredith's friend Sadie, cutting her stomach open...so they could take her appendix out just so the interns (among them, Lexie) could supposedly gain surgical knowledge & experience firsthand??! How bizarre!!
This scenario somewhat reminded me of the movie I saw recently "Pathology"...only the movie..was quite a bit more twisted. Anyone see this movie?
And what about the storyline with Denny & Izzy?? I thought Izzy was going to wake up from a dream after all that happened....but......NO! HUH??!....
This show is getting too weird for me...not liking it much...
And did notice the Dr. Hahn (Erica) wasn't in this episode at all. Wonder if they're taking her out of the show?

I just hope they don't take Chandra Wilson (who plays the resident Dr. Bailey) out of the show. She's my favorite character in the show!

jacobcorn :)~~They fired Erica from the show. The BIG WIGS didn't like the lesbian scenes and fired her. She barely got 2 weeks notice. I haven't heard a thing about Izzy dying or leaving the show. They could never lose Dr. Bailey, she is the "it" in shiznit for this show. Ya know who bores me to tears? Meredith...Just the most annoyingly blah character on the show. They need to pick up some story lines with George. I miss the whole George and Izzy chemistry. BUT the one thing that annoys me the most about this show is how they keep making it painfully clear that the interns are learning absolutely nothing from the residents AND YET it continues. Its making me insane...and yes, interns practicing on themselves is quite normal, but not cutting out internal organs!!! Oy!! I am so glad this thread is here I just <3 this show.

As far as Meredith goes....I agree. She does have rather a "blah" personality doesn't she? I thought maybe she was going to leave the show...waaaay back when she almost drowned...guess not...
And the Izzy & George romance....dunno? I read somewhere online that quite a few people thought that whole storyline was boring....
I actually would like to see George get together with Lexie...or better yet....back with his ex-wife. Thought they were pretty sizzling & hot together...;-). I really like both of them....
And I'm guessing Dr. Yang...is gonna get with this new doctor (forget his name)...sooner or later? That should be interesting....
And YES ....Bailey is the "it in shiznit"!! If she ever left the show...I think I just might quit watching it......

I agree...I think he genuinely cares for Izzy...and definitely some chemistry going on there. This story line with Izzy & Denny is too weird! I liked Denny & Izzy together...WHEN he was alive....but this "ghost" stuff...hope they don't drag it on forever.......
Other relationships on this show I'd like to see....
George & Callie back together....after I thought about it....I don't think that's gonna work again......Callie is way too hot for him...;-)
And George is....well ..George...lol.
When they first introduced Lexie....she seemed to me like a lost little puppy dog...following her sister Meredith all around, desperately trying to get her to notice her & to gain her friendship/love...
And George's character...has always reminded of this same type of thing. They would be two little lost puppy dogs finding a compatible companion to be with at last...:-)
The "rugged sexy dude"....hehe...well, he just seem like quite the enigma so far....kinda hard one to read...

The Dennie thing is sorta weird but after awhile I realized that when someone loses a loved one they have those "what ifs" in their mind and they never really put closure to the Denny Izzie story. but they are definitely shooting the scenes strangely. I wish Dennie was alive because he was a great character.

I never miss it. I got my son hooked on it before he married and he used to come up every Thursday night for dinner and Grey's. Now he is married and he and his wife come up every Thursday night for dinner and Grey's.
Yay, our first family tradition since one of my kids married!
I think Izzy has gone off the deep end (had a psychotic break).

I didn't even know there was a Grey's Anatomy thread on here... ;) Another fan here, hooked from the very first episode... :) Unfortunately, we're a little behind over here in Holland... We just started season 5... So I won't read too many of the posts above mine, because I don't want to know too many spoilers... Oh well, never really liked her anyway... ;) I guess I'll get to see that in about two months if they keep broadcasting Grey's Anatomy over here, which I doubt, because the network that broadcasts the episodes here can't get too close to where you guys are in the US... We're always at least 5 episodes or so behind ... :( Can't wait til my weekly dose of Grey's tomorrow evening... :)

Seems like I was right about Dutch tv not broadcasting Grey's much longer... On December 22nd, Private Practice will be back on in the Grey's time slot... Guess I'll have to wait a little longer to see Hahn get fired... ;) And instead of McDreamy, I get to drool over Taye Diggs, lol... ;)
