Welcome to the Let's Play Sports Contest. Your judges will be grammatea4u(Tas) and Elronda(Bev).
This contest will be a no elimination contest. So if you audition you will be singing in all of the rounds. The only way someone will be eliminated is if they do not get their song in on time.
This contest will run on the following schedule:
Audition round: July 21st to July 28th.
Round 1: July 28th to July 31st
Round 2: July 31st to August 2nd
Round 3: August 2nd to August 4th
Round 4: August 4th to August 6th
Round 5: August 6th to August 8th
For each round of this contest we will be singing songs based on keywords associated with various sports.
You will be judged on the following 1-10 point scale 10 being best:
1. creativity...this could be talking during instrumentals,slideshows,dressing up a part..anything you can bring to the song other than straight singing.
2. vocals...how in tune you were
3. overall flow of performance..phrasing,staying in tempo etc.
At the end of the contest one male and one female will be awarded the Sportsman of the Year Award.
We also will be awarding top vocalists and top creativity awards. All these awards will be based on your average scores for the Audition round and the following five rounds.
We also will be giving out awards for top vocalists and top creative performances for each round.
All Awards will be given at the end of the entire contest.
Now on to the Audition round...For the audition round we want you to sing a song where the title begins with either S,P,O,R,or T
No duets please. Harmonies are ok as well as songs performed with the 1st singsnap band.
The song you sing must be in the singsnap library of songs. Please try to keep your song selection family friendly. If you feel it isn't, we kindly ask that you place the singsnap warning on it.
You may use a Prerecorded tune only for the AUDITION ROUND. Remember points scored in the audition round count toward the final scores.
THE AUDITION ROUND ENDS JULY 31ST AT 7:30AM SINGSNAP TIME.
Please try to listen and comment on your fellow contestants.

I'm excited!! I've got my song picked out. It's new to me though. I will have to learn it and I'll be assuming yet another persona.. hee hee.. so it will be a little later before I submit my entry.
