To the Fun & Friendship Challenge #148

Our challenges are designed with fun and fellowship in mind. We are not judges .. this is never a competition. This is simply a fun way to challenge friends to sing a song to fit the daily criteria.
This thread is also for sharing your stories, your interests , funny pix, g-rated jokes, laughs and camaraderie.
We ask that you keep the songs and chat G rated so that all might enjoy.
Should any dissention arise, kindly take it to pm or contact one of the directors of the Challenge.
We ask that if you are joining the challenge that you please listen to and comment on a minimum of 3 other entries.
JUST A REMINDER...EVEN THOUGH WE ARE ADULTS WHO SING AND POST ON THIS BOARD..WE DO NEED TO REMEMBER THAT WE NEED TO ADHERE TO SINGSNAP'S FORUM RULES...SO PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND
http://www.singsnap.com/snap/forum/topic/a62792
We are currently looking for people who are willing to host. If anyone is interested in hosting, please Pm Niki ( Princessa ), Dave (Dagwood68), or Lynn (TennLynn)

The reason that we host these challenges is to give us all something to sing about, to have a friendly place to chat and play. People seem to have a lot of fun singing and chatting .. and that’s terrific.. However.. there is a problem when it comes to listening to others singing. Several people have left the challenge and new people have not stayed because of having very few listens. We’re not asking any of you to listen to everyone.. its hard enough sometimes to listen to everyone as a host. We know that you all have busy lives, but its pretty easy to have one window open to listen to a song while chatting on the board in another window. We’re simply asking that each of you make a concerted effort to listen to a few songs and leave comments. You know how much YOU appreciate receiving comments.
Sing ON !!!!!!

Another weekend has arrived in the Fun & Friendship Challenge.

Debbie & Lynn will be your hostesses for the weekend.

First thing we need to do is say a big

To Caroline for a fantastic Challenge! Thank you for all you do!

Now, for the weekend challenge

Let's all take a

You can sing any songs you want, as long as they bring back memories of some kind. Do you remember what songs were popular when you were in school? Do you remember what shows were popular? This challenge is for us to Remember When..

Debbie and Lynn will be tagteaming the bookmarking.

You can post as many songs as you wish. Pre-Records are welcome as long as they haven't been used in a previous Fun & Friendship Challenge.

So come on everyone! SING SING SING your hearts out!!! And come on in and chat! Let's get back to talking again!!!

Good morning Arthur and Bratty and everyone else who's around :)

I had to sing this Country song for a competition, I had never heard it before and I had to do it in one take..eek! But, even though the song is new to me, it brought back memories....memories of how much i love to sing and have fun with people, and that's something that I'd forgotten for a while. Those happy memories made me realise that NO ONE is ever going to stop me singing or having fun...however wicked or mean they might be to me....so....

I'm here for the party!

This is a Happy memory.....of time spent with my mother.
She would play records all day long and tape them on a reel to reel. I still have the box of all those reels she did. There has to be 50 or more in it. She loved all music...I suppose that's where I get my love of music as well.

Anyway.....this was her favorite song.
