Most of the time we just finished recording a song and we will be looking for somewhere where we could post it so other people could listen to it. Other's are not challenged enough to join in message boards like this. They may be a bit shy.

In fact Tita I just can't do nothing with quality at all
The mainboard is Defective so I just can't have stereomix or anything out of the soundcard. So I keep the mic close to the speakers and I back up far from the mic so I can not do better quality sorry

I have the same problem, I get very conscious of just everything! The words, the sounds, the mic and all, but I promise you will get used to it.

A cheap little $7 mic and I balance the vocals and music trying not to overdrive the recording to distortion. I do no sound effects since I figure that a listener will set their own preference and any I use will be magnified plus I want you to hear what I really sound like. You can tell I have experimented and eventually will settle on my own standard for good sound. It seems to be getting a little better.
I did about 5 takes on this but the music to me still seems a bit too loud. See what you think
