I could PM this, but since you have the negative comments on your thread I thought I would add a positive one. I think the concern is that people will give low scores to the best singers to basically get rid of them so they have a better chance. But, just so everyone knows, I sponsored a similar contest not long ago and frankly was betting people would be biased in their voting, but I was absolutely wrong. I gave them a set of criteria to use for judging and they all used it faithfully. I was and still am highly impressed with that group of people!!

Am I just naive to think that people actually would vote for the better singer?? How on earth could this be misconstrude as a popularity contest?? If the person is talented and an unknown then I would think it wouldn't matter, at least that's what I'm betting on when people start to vote.

I don't think I appreciate the negative comments to start this off, with what I hope to be a fun contest, that I personally am paying to sponsor by giving away the prize. I thought we're suppose to be a fun loving community. Instead I get two negative comments that could have easily been PM'ed to me letting me know their opinions.

Don't worry about that crap. People like that are just sore that they aren't popular enough to get the vote. :P

I however am confident in my singing ability and my popularity. :P J/K I can't pass up the webcam and mic. I could definitely use a cam. :D
