It would be much better if important announcements about changes to the site appeared on everyone's home page don't you think?
The first thing I saw on the discussions board today was yet another thread inquiring about changes to the site.
Not everyone visits the site every day, and some just have time to record the odd song now and again. Not everyone gets to see the boards.
Another Suggestion
Change the word 'Pay' to something else on the Gold Only songs.
It's easy to see how the 'pay' at the end of the songs that are reserved for gold members could be mis-read by anyone who hasn't read the boards, or seen any of Trevor's messages.
It may have been better if it read 'Gold Only' or something similar, instead of 'pay' which to anyone not in the know, gives the impression that people have to pay for each individual song.

lol i guess that is as close to new's as can be :)
the way topics flow would be hard to keep up too i imagine
I never use that page to log on i have my community page as my default page on SSnap

Right under the sing snap logo in the middle ...see w here it says NEWS ...there ya go :)
PS. it doesn't look exactly like that cuz I made it skinny lol :) But ya get the idea :)

Took me quite awhile to find that. But thanks for pointing it out, Cheekylilvixen. I have to say, I don't think it's adequate though, I am here because I have had so much trouble with this site as of late. At first it was because of problems with Windows so as instructed, I started using Firefox. Now that doesn't work either and I know others have also been having problems from what I can see and they've been complaining about it for weeks. Tech has always been great on this site so wondering why it's taking so long to fix. I cannot record because when I hit record, it does not play or do anything. I cannot listen to others or even my own because when I hit play, it does not. Now I see that some people are saying that they have to log out of SingSnap after each time they play or record, exit their browser. Then they have to open the brwser again and relog into singsnap.... then they get the opportunity to play and/or record ONE MORE TIME!! Well... that is far too much to ask... especially of someone who paid for a full year in advance. It takes long enough to record a song sometimes due to volume levels always changing. I would LOVE to know when this is being fixed.
Also - there maybe a post about this somewhere else but I really don't have time to sort through the pages and pages of bulletin posts to find out. They're not even in time sequential order that I can see. The search on this thing is of little to no value as well. Does anyone know when this will be fixed or do I need yet ANOTHER browser? I think it's the server.....

I have to log out and back on again every time I record...never had that problem before...when it was free... but now that I am payin... it is FRUSTRATING...
but I love singsnap so I do not complain.. I just figure out how to make it play nicely in the sand box without throwing sand...hee hee

walkingstick would like some pb if you don't mind nance.....When I open up Firefox
it automatically goes to my Community tab
so I never ever see the front page
that other folk see when they log on
and it never occurs to me to go and look.
I would like to see the NEWS on the Feature Page
as I and many others DO go to that page regularly.
