The idea behind this club, which has been discussed for a day or so within 'General Discussion' forum, is to provide a 'badge' for members that they can add to their listens.
This badge absolutely assures the singer that the person posting it has listened to the entire song. It doesnt have to be used every time the club member listens to someone's song but if they do post it they are honour bound to have given the song a FULL listen.
Shandakr has come up with a graphic that you can use. She will explain later in this thread how you can store it and then copy and paste it into the song you are listening to, or have listened to. The graphic will also be hyperlinked back to this thread so recipients can find out what it is all about simply by clicking on it and maybe sign up too.
Here is the current list of members and I have no doubt that the list will grow as people find out about it and like the idea.

oh my I was just telling a friend about this club and in my PM to her..it really dawned on me what the actual purpose of this club is...Its to show people that we give quality listens instead of quantity listens...So in essence it may be fewer listens per day due to the time issues, but the quality is there. Does that make sense?

Well it would seem that the formation of the listening club has caused deep problems with certain members of singsnap. We should not let that get to us.
The club has nothing to hide. Everyone knows that it is easy to pop on a comment after 30 seconds and shoot off again. What is much harder is to give the singer the respect of a full listen. If they havent sung it very well or havent really cared for their production and you dont want to stay ..then dont post the badge. It's simple.

Do we want both buttons, all sizes, or just the medium of the happy face button? I was thinking it would be good to have each and different sizes for everyone to choose from.
Just let me know, Kerry and I will do whichever you want with a hotlink for each. :)

I always listen to complete songs when I listen to ppl and that is why sometimes i will make a couple of comments to ensure that ppl know I was there for the whole thing! I love this idea Ker !
