This contest will give blue members a chance to win gold and try out all of our gold features! If you are new, we would like to welcome you to Sing Snap and hope you stay with us for a long time!

You have made it to round 3!
This round we are doing songs with the names of animals in them.
We are back to claiming.. so please.. watch the thread, make sure the song you claim has not been taken already and PLEASE wait for your song to be approved by our judges before you leave the thread.. Good luck!!!

Here is the way most of our rounds work:

1. You will see a list of songs w/thier artists.
2. You will claim a song to sing. PLEASE make sure no one else has claimed that song. You can scroll up the page again to make sure, we say please, always check the threads.
We only allow a song to be sung once.
3. If someone else has claimed the song you wanted, please choose another song. We go by the time of the claim.
4. Once you have claimed your song, you may sing it anytime before the next round but hopefully you will get them in as early as you can to avoid delays.

PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU AUDITION!

IMPORTANT ~ A new rule has been added, we do NOT use cams until round 3 so, from round 3 on you MAY use your cam but for round 1 and 2 we want to get used to JUST your voices!

]Many of you have asked us, especially if you have not made it through to a round, "What was wrong with my song??" or "What Can I Do To Improve?" so we have made an account
that is shared by a few vocal critiques , some judges, some professionals, some teachers etc.
If you would like a critique on your song or songs for any reason, please pm this account:

Please remember it's always important to keep checking the thread.
We cannot stress this enough! It is up to you to get your songs in on time and when we have you claim songs, to get them claimed quickly.

Judging
There are 12 + Judges, full time and alternates.
There will be 3 Judges per group.
Alternates are on standby and are listening to your
songs as well. They will replace any judge incase someone
needs time off. They will be our tie breakers and do backups as well.

You will be judged in 4 categories:
Voice and Clarity
Emotion
Pitch
Being able to impress the judges
All judges scores will be averaged.
After each round we will be losing 10 people, this includes DQ's & Withdraws.

Round 3......Tuesday, October 20th.. Ends Friday .. October 23rd.. Noon Snap Time

IMPORTANT:
If you think you might have sound/cam issues please make an
appointment with support .. you can pm Bubba1 to make that appointment. I would suggest you
do it the day before the contest. We may have support but cannot promise so please set an
appointment if you feel you need one.
The finals will be held in live chat. We would like you to be on cam if you have one.
You will be assigned 2 songs which you will perform for 5 (or more) of our judges.

NEW: We will have a tech to take you into the live chat and test out your Sound & Cam to make sure everything will go smoothly for the finals.. the dates she will be taking you in will be during the week we are awaiting the finals date.

SS Getcha' Gold On-TIPS & SUGGESTIONS

READ THE RULES ON PAGE ONE!

Choose a song in Your range!
NO effects *except light echo/reverb* no Harmony as stated in rules.
Cams alllowed, but Please be dressed (we sometimes have kids here)!
Use of headphones when recording is recommended; hard to hear music that plays through your speakers.
Eliminate as much background noise as possible: TV, Kids...lol!
Also close other programs such as IM's & other open Windows (they Can affect the recording)
If you do backgrounds...any action graphics, including glitters, can cause skipping.
Turn on mic Before hitting record!

LISTEN TO YOUR RECORDING BEFORE SUBMITTING!!

Submit entry in this format so it doesn't get over-looked:

Listen to others as You would want them to listen to You!
If you can't say something nice~Don't say Anything at all or just leave a generic graphic (keep them a decent size).
If you have questions, PM a Judge!
Up-Dates will be made by a Judge or our Host ONLY and are usually limited to one a page.
When claiming songs, make sure the song you want is Still available!
If you get eliminated, hope you will try again next contest.
