LoveUAlways hopes she was worth it.Ok...we had a bit of a rocky start, but we're gonna get this thing going. I've agreed to come in and help our hostess get things straightened out.
For this round...EVERYONE who auditioned has made it through auditions. That means EVERYONE sings this round.
RULES: We're gonna keep it really simple this round...
1. Sing ANY song listed under the Country category here on SS.
2. No Pre-records. All entries must be fresh.
3. Please post your song as Title / Artist / Link
4. Effects are fine, however no duets or harmonies.
5. We are gonna try and make this a fast round, so deadline is Friday, July 25th at 12 Midnight (SS Time)
Any questions, please PM me. The list of entrants will be in my next post. The first cut will be a big one. We will be cutting down to 20, so make your song a GOOD one.
Judging will be based on:
Song Choice - Does the song fit your vocal style
Pitch / Tone - Do you stay on key, do you carry a pleasant tone throughout
Clarity - How clear are your vocals. (distortion, too loud/soft music, poor timing are all things that will count against you)
Entertainment/Emotion - Did you convey the "spirit" of the song

Question for the judges...I may be impacted by Hurricane Dolly, if she shifts. As of right now, they we are in a Tropical Storm warning. I may lose electric or internet from this. I am going to try and get my song done today, but if it isn't in before deadline, can I enter it late due to Mother Nature? I have a few other contests that I am entered in that have the same deadline date so I am trying to get all of them done today, but I just wanted you to know what is happening if I don't get it in on time.

Thank you :) I've finished a song, not my best, but I wanted to make sure I got it in. I believe there are other people on here along the Gulf Coast of Texas that might have the same problem too....just as a head's up...But here is my recording of "Why Haven't I Heard From You" with touches of my own personality in it...lol Enjoy it.
