Pet Peeves, where do I start? Spam messages, cut and paste comments, adverts, and adverts on T.V. where the volume is raised.

Signs of the ilk, ‘Disabled Toilets” when they mean toilets for people with disabilities’. Why would anyone advertise the fact that their toilets were not functioning correctly as an attraction.

Oh, I just had to add this one that was sign written on the wall at a local eatery.

‘WITH OUR MEAT WE SERVE THE BEST HELP YOURSELF TO ALL THE REST.’

Oh’ right, so you people have all the good food do you, I wonder what the quality of the food that you will be providing for me will be then?

I could go on and on, but I am busy thinking of something to do that will make me look busy.

I actually, I don't care if I have listens or comments..no BULL here. If I do, GREAT! If I don't AWESOME( sorry Mal lol). I have lots of songs in private. Those that aren't are for contests, others I just simply forget to put it in private, and the other others lol are for those who requested a song or duets. I sing in the car, in the shower, heck I sing outloud at work LOL.

SS Pet Peeve ...peeps who make-up names to abuse the system or to talk crap cus they have no spine to do it under their original SS names.

Real life pet peeve ... People who stand behind me while I am typing or reading. Making people wait for something. Just drives me insane LOL.

uh oh i see I'm already a couple of pet peeves,lol!!
1) Deb, I suppose I'm just looking for a comment that might be somehow different or informative, that might give me some insight to what to focus on or something, i don't know, but the regular comments good or bad, I don't put a whole lot of credence in because i don't know who the commenters are or where they are coming from. 2) I'm not much for competition, i entered a one song contest, for the fun of it,lol, didn't even finish 2nd out of 7!!! Some of the contests seem to be either beauty or popularity contests, and i'm neither, can't dance as well, too old for american idol, gotta wait to enter the seniors,lol!! But if it's a quicky contest or high dollar i might consider... for the fun of it, or because i'm addicted to singing,lol!!
3) I love the duets here and would love to sing with some of these ladies in the shower,lol!!! I like the chat also because it's a thrill to be "live".
4) I've been called a smarta$$ many times, but I always say better a smarta$$ than a dumba$$!!

I agree with Cheekylilvixen, like the name by the way, people making people wait for something, or choosing the longest songs and being long winded, or unprepared with their song on the singing chat, though i have been guilty of the last.
Probably a lot of my pet peeves I have been guilty of myself occasionally, so I'm not sure if i want to embarrass myself and list them, yes i get frustrated at being a part of what I call "the human condition"!!

People who have nicked the format of my contest 'Vocal Creations' and called theirs something similar...with the same number of rounds and same kind of voting on the same kind of music.

Before there was nothing 'vocal', 'contest wise'. Now there is vocal this and vocal that..get your own titles!

Next time Im going to call my contest 'oral pleasure' or something...hehe...lets see how many try to copy THAT!

i don't especially care if i get listens or not... and yes, most of the time i do feature recordings.....

not to get listens, but because i prefer to have a rummage through 12-19 pages of feature songs to see if anything strikes my fancy rather than trawling through the entire music catalogue....

besides.... typically if i find a good feature, i'll record three or four songs, and, most likely, at least one of those will make it's way through the feature list without a single listen, and get a listen or two after that....

and no, i don't get loads of comments either... one or two of my friends might spam a recording or two, but typically it's more like 6 views and 2 comments....

and if i ever entered a karaoke competition, it wouldn't be with the aim to win (which, let's face it, would be nice) but it'd be more for the putting myself in a situation that i can't back out of so that i had to stand up in front of people and sing....

but i'm just strange like that

And while we are on the subject..spare a thought for poor old me (get the violins out) who has to decipher which contest is which when it has a similar title, especially/even more so..when there is more than one host...moving stuff can be a nightmare at times! LOL

mandy..couldn't singsnap do something in that dept. to help you...like some sort of edit by the thread creator to click on when they are ready to have the thread moved..or click on something that would say 'complete'...then you go and move it.

People who drive while talking on their cell phone.
People who chew with their mouth open.
People who blow their noses in front of you.
People who don't say "Bless You" when you sneeze.
People who keep you waiting in line just so they can shoot the breeze.
People who talk to f'in much.
People who don't acknowledge when you are speaking to them.
Loud commercials... any of them (this is why I no longer watch t.v.).
SNOBS.
Ignorant people (not STUPID, ignorant... think they know what they're talking about but don't have an f'in clue).
Judgmental and prejudiced people.
Mean people (they suck).
Messy people (I live with them & they think I'm the maid).

There's more but my fingers are tired. :)

I hate expensive cosmetics that claim everything and do nothing but empty your pockets. That is 99.9999999% of them then.

I also hate myself for being duped in to thinking that I need cosmetics. Nobody really needs them.

LOL..I never really get on the boards..then I just happen to drop in and found that Im a peever..eeep...hehe..yep..Im one annoyed by the cut and paste ..but I do know some that truly are comp challenged and appreciate their visit...IRL ..people who talk over people and rattle like an empty cage...you know ...they hear lil bits of what you say and start talking before you finish...usually about themselves..I find them not only annoying but have no gift in communicating ..most are into selves....yep ..thats my peeve to share for today...what a great topic!!!..hehe..Im just venting!!!
