THIS IS A SPECIAL SUMMER CHALLENGE. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING ANYTHING.
This challenge is open to all. It runs until Tuesday Sept 2 at 6PM EDT.
The purpose of the Everyone’s A Winner Challenges is to give people a forum to have their songs heard. There is no judging involved. Everyone who participates is a winner.
For each song you post, please be sure to listen to others who have posted here as well.
Please do not post glitter or large graphics as feedback or in the thread.
Please avoid making multiple posts in a row (spam) by going back and editing your posts if you left something out. You have 30 minutes after you post to add to or correct your post by using the EDIT button.

The theme of this challenge is LIVE IN THE EVERYONE’S A WINNER CHAT ROOM. Post a song you've recorded Live in the EAW Chat room.
We are on our Summer Break. For the next 6 weeks we will have this instead of our weekly challenge. Our chat room will be open. Use this thread to stay in touch with other EAW members, make plans to meet in the Everyone’s A Winner Chat Room and to post songs that you recorded Live in there.

Everyone’s A Winner Chat Room
We have our own chat room where you can sing live or just listen to and chat with others in this community. It’s a lot of fun and a great crowd of friendly people. Come hang out with your new online friends.
We have regular, rather lengthy gatherings as follows -
Thursday beginning at 7PM EDT (4PM PDT/11P GMT)
Friday at 6PM EDT (3PM PDT/11PM GMT+1). Often there’s a late Friday one too.
Saturday around 8:30PM EDT (5:30PM PDT/12:30AM GMT)
Sunday afternoon Occasionally we have Sunday gatherings
EDT=Eastern Daylight Time PDT=Pacific Daylight Time GMT=Greenwich Mean Time
But you are welcome in there at any time as long as you follow the guidelines. If you want to organize a gathering at other times, you can invite others to meet you with PMs or by mentioning it in the challenge thread.
To get into the chat room, use the login at the bottom of the Home Page.
If you've not been to the chat room before or if you need to brush up on the guidelines and how it works, please read item # 11 before entering.

A few words about our brand new Everyone’s A Winner Hall of Fame
Much thanks to Janet for all the work she put into writing the code for the Homepage and Profiles linked in. It looks great.
You click on each picture to access a person's information. The pictures are arranged alphabetically by screen name, with the challenge and chat room hosts listed first. The page is a work in progress. Please be patient and please help us to complete it.
1) Send us the information to fill in the "Duets" and “About” sections. Look at mine or Janet’s completed profile to get an idea of what we’re looking for. PM that info to EveryonesawinnerHOF.
2) Write a “More About…” section for another EAW member. If you notice, I wrote one for Janet and she wrote one for me. Write one of these for anyone you choose and PM that info to EveryonesawinnerHOF.
3) Most of the songs you see were taken from our HOF challenge a few weeks back. If you have empty spaces on your page please PM the song links (include song address AND song name) to EveryonesawinnerHOF.
Please send just two PM's with as much of the above information as you can. This will ensure cutting down on our work too. One for your "Duets" and "About you" section, and one more for the "More About..." as you might not have space in the one.
Finally, if you are an EAW regular and do not see a profile for yourself, please notify either Janet or me.

Thanks for the feedback folks. As I said, most of the credit goes to Janet and her coding skills. And her commitment to getting things done.
But, of course, the whole thing couldn't exist without the people that make the Everyone's A Winner Challenge what it is, a gathering of very talented and exceptionally good natured people. And those people are YOU!
Please help Janet and I to finish the page by sending in the information mentioned at the beginning of this thread AND please publicize the page. Tell people about it.

I shall miss the EAW Challenge over the summer...I know I'm not as regular a visitor as I want to be...but I always enjoy listening to the people here & everyone is so nice & friendly too :)))))))
So to see the summer out in an epic kind of way...here's one I've spent several days & a total of 5 1/2 hours working on. It'll be of more interest to the Brits...for reasons which will be obvious when you see it!!!

I do wish I could go in the chat room some day but I for the life of me can't get my old mic to work here and only have a USB one that won't work in there. OMGoshhhhhhhhhhhhhh, thank you Janet and Bruce! The new EAW Hall of Fame is fanfreakingtastic! When I think of all the time that went into this, I just marvel at what a wonderful family this is...what a warm and supportive haven we have here.
The HOF is a tool for me to get to know everyone by name and not just nics and our best songs, as we see them. I adore our surprise page!
Getting in line to Host/CoHost again....I truly enjoyed that. :o)

I can't believe something...I thought I was the most shy person on the face of the planet (well at least in the top ten), and yet somehow I can't keep myself out of the chatroom when it's open. I guess maybe that says something about me, but I'm not sure what. Oh well, I guess maybe what I'm saying is when you work out the sound issues - come join us in the chatroom friends, I haven't witnessed anyone getting bit in there yet. Hehehe. Haven't been around much and may not be for a few more days at least.
Taking some time for reflection but I'll be back.
The theme is great for folks like me
who don't mind singing live in chat and recording it cause I'm a ham.
I'm just thinking it would be great to add something to the theme
to include folks here
who can't get into chat
can't record in chat
or are too shy to do so
so they can post songs over the summer too.
I'm off to continue my break

Awww to the shy people and chat. You do know that's how I started off? It was Bruce who convinced me that going into the chatroom and singing wasn't a naughty thing to do heheh, yeah just over a year ago that was me :D I made a few mistakes, I make more these days, but it was possibly one of the biggest growing stages in my entire life. I found out people accepted me, and actually liked me. They didn't hold their ears when I sang... I only had my straw mic in those days too!
To anyone wanting to join but feels a little reserved please get in touch, we do talk you through every stage of the way, and would love to see you there. It makes this singing thing a whole new world believe me, and you can laugh and stay up all night. Well you lot probably don't but me being a Brit with silly hours has too. Woof swears I'm a vampire and well I think I agree :D Now gimme your blood Muwhahahahahaha... (gulp).

Hello my friends! and hello interstate road again - thank goodness. On the road again, this time my brother's driving and ooooh were those little curvy mountain roads ever making me feel sick!!
