You will be required to produce 2 songs this week folks.
I want everyone here to have a chance to really either show off their voice or to show off how much feeling they can emote in their voice and what kind of performance they can bring.
For that reason, I want you guys to go to Roland's pages and find one of his rock songs that he plays acoustically and sing a rock song with nothing but you and the acoustic.
Another plan would be for you to play the acoustic. That will work to.
So we know.
Song one is you and the acoustic.
Song 2 is a Rock song that you have not sang in this contest yet, that was MADE after 1970, meaning January 1, 1971 or beyond.
No oldies in this round, but still enough to give you a lot of leeway to find a song that you can do a quality piece with.
Ok song 2. Any rock song made after 1970 that you have not sang in this contest yet.
Same rules and (lack of rules) deadlines that we have had in every other round up until now.
Good luck to the final 17 and we will see you on the other side.

Might be for the best I'm stuck in in a motel for a few days and when I get to my new location I won't have internet for a few days ...
On the bright side a sweet sweet SingSnapper sponsored me for gold last week for my B-Day so I would have given it up anyway.

Google is an amazing tool to use. If you type the name of the song and the artist. It should bring up the info on that song. Release date and so on. Hope this helps.

In KD's opening post he states "Same rules and (lack of rules) deadlines that we have had in every other round up until now."
So... Monday at 12:00pm SS time for submissions and Tuesday 12:00pm SS time for judging.

Congrat Bo.
You were one of the highest finishers. I felt like you would make it the whole time. You not only sing when you sing, you perform, and that is unique.
Anyway, Google or yahoo the song and look for wikipedia (sp). It will usually give you all the information about the song you need.

"Patience" is a song by the American hard rock group Guns N' Roses, which appears on the album G N' R Lies and was released as a single in 1989. The song peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The song is played using three acoustic guitars, and was recorded in a single session by producer Mike Clink. I am extending the deadline in this contest to Wednesday at noon EST, or when ever everyone's songs are in. With the 4th , I know everyone has plans. I have Gigs and it is my sisters birthday.

I just wanted to let you know asap so the replacement has a good amount of time to prepare. Just went to Rolands page and he has it a little confusing, or at least it was to me.
I don't want a song with the whole band of his this time out.....That will happen later maybe. This round, it has to be accustic.
