I AM INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT, HOW MANY SINGERS THAT THERE ARE IN THE STATES I HAVE LISTED AND IF WE COULD FIND A CENTRAL LOCATION FOR A 3 DAY EVENT WITH ROOM DISCOUNTS AND ENTERTAINMENT FACILITIES IF ANYONE WOULD BE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING. I BELIEVE THAT WITH SOME PLANNING THIS COULD BE DONE POSSIBLY AT ONE OF THE BIG CASINOES IN THE TULSA AREA,AND POSSIBLY GET A LOT OF PROMO FROM ONE OF THESE PLACES ALSO AT A NOT SO MUCH COST TO US. HOWEVER I DO NEED TO KNOW INITIALLY HOW MANY WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THIS PROJECT BEFORE ANY NEGOTIATIONS COULD BE DONE AND THEN IF THERE WOULD BE ENOUGH WILLING TO COMMITT AND NOT JUST SAY THEY WOULD COME , BUT ACTUALLY PUT THEIR NAME ON THE LINE LIKE A RESERVED RESERVATION AND BE WILLING TO GO THROUGH WITH IT ,RATHER THAN SAY YES I WILL GO AND THEN NOT SHOW UP.IF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED PLEASE LIST WHERE YOU ARE FROM AND YOUR COMMENT.

Cheekylilvixen time 2 watch tv, my shows should b on, better not b reruns!lolIt sounds like a great idea. I am in Dallas area, so about 5hrs from Tulsa. All depends on when you want to do this. I have a very busy schedule this fall and we just moved into our new home. So still trying to figure out monies on that situation lol. Then I have a family reunion in November. THen shortly after that is the Christmas holidays. So, for me, it probably be best to do it for summer of 09. If sometime in the summer, I could save up money for it and may be my kids will be at my parents for the summer. Which will make it easier to move about. Sure could use a nice vacation! lol :)

Well i am in Oklahoma,, Anytime is pretty good for me except summer lol we go on vacation to Canada and the kids are out of school . We go to Tulsa almost every second weekend. Please keep me informed on this :) hugs

I agree with Cheeky...with all of the holidays that are coming upon us quicker than we might like...summer of '09 sounds like a good time! I would definitely be interested in hearing more about this!

Lived there all my life.....moved recently to Arkansas..but still have Family and Friends back home.
Matter of Fact Lot's of my Family work at the Casinos There...... this sounds like FUN and not a far drive for me at all.

WELL IT IS HARD TO PUT A DATE ON IT UNTIL WE CAN GET ENOUGH PPEOPLE TO COMMITT BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO TRY TO GET ARRANGEMENTS MADE UNTIL I FEEL WE HAVE ENOUGH INTERESTED SO TELL ME WHAT YOU ALL THINK--THE THING IS IF WE SET A DATE IT HAS TO BE THEN--AND I AM SORRY BUT EVERYONE HAS A DATE THT THEY CAN OR CANNOT COME,BUT IF THE DATE IS SET AND ARRANGEMENTS MADE IT WOULD HAVE TO BE THAT WAY AND ALL THE ROOMS ETC. Well, I have already commented on this thread and I am still very interested in participating!
I wouldn't be making room reservations though as I live way too close to the original destination you mentioned and wouldn't want to waste my money, when I could sleep in my own bed! ;)
I also stated what time frame I thought would work the best. I think with the holidays knocking on the door as we speak, that after the new year would be the best bet!
I will keep checking in here to see/hear of updates!

Than we can be given group rates. Either, if it is a good date( time of year) and money is there, I will most definitely make the trip out there. I am about 5hrs away, so it may be something we can do :)
