BORN MUSICIAN (AUDITIONS)

hey there! I'm back again and I'm hosting a new contest.

This contest is, hopefully, going to prove what a great musician you are. The whole purpose of this contest is to challenge you and make you a better singer!

Each round I'm going to give you a new and hopefully different task to overcome. For example I might ask you to change an entire song completely by throwing out the old melody and coming up with your own *winks* I hope none of this is scaring you talented people off!

Ok, now off to the facts. For your audition I want you to pick out and post what you think is your most creative recordings.In other words, any one of your recordings that you think you really made your own. Pre-records are allow for auditions only.

Auditions will last until 12:00 pm (singsnap time) Monday July 28th

I can't say how many will make it to round 1, it just depends on how many of you really truly impress me.

There will probably be 10 rounds, maybe less. I apologize for there not being and actual prize, but I will make you a nice flashy banner to post on your profile.

I do have a couple rules I would like to point out

1. do not say anything rude or hurtful to your fellow contest contestants.

2. do not enter this contest if you do not intend to see it all the way through. Make sure you have enough time to set aside for your tasks.

3. If you by some chance do not agree with choices I've made in the contest, pm me and do not start trouble on the message board.

good question. Since this is a karaoke site, I would like you to sing the songs and if you wish, you are more than welcome to play your bass guitar as you sing. You can either put the sites background music on mute or play along with it. Anything like that will do. So, yes, musicians do count as long as you are singing also. :)

Well the way its looking right now I might have to cancel this contest. I'm not getting enough entries. I guess people these days are just not up to a challenge. I'll keep this open for a day or two more but If I don't get anymore entries this contest will be ended before it can start.

You don't have to play an instrument to be a musician, I didn't think that would confuse people. A persons voice is considered and instrument. But I am allowing people that play instruments to join in as long as they sing also.

I'm going to go ahead and cancel this contest. Too many people are confused by it. Thank you to those who did enter and audition and sorry. :( maybe some other day I'll try again.
