Welcome all, well we are ready for another contest. We want to welcome some new judges that are joining us today. Good to have you. A few of our regulars are taking some time off and will be missed but they will be back, right? So everyone who wishes to will stay on as either a regular or an alternate, whichever works best for you. For any questions, comments or just a up of coffee, feel free to get to know each other here.

It is a very exhilerating experience, to say the least...
It is also a very complicated judging experience. But I am sure, if you were chosen, you will be able to judge fairly.

I'm a new Judge and I'm so looking forward to enjoying my experience on SP3.
As I say, I'm new to all this so I need to go and work on my banner thing for this
haven't done one ever before so it's really about crossing my fingers and hoping for the best :)

My name is Tracy. And I am sure you will meet the other Judges soon enough! And yes there were a few problems of getting previous Judges pics to upload! But I am sure the technicians will help you to get it fixed soon.
When I tried uploading my pic the first time, it would'nt take either. So I finally recorded a song, which I was not singing, for my profile and my pic finally uploaded. Of course the technicians were also working on it at the same time! Probably a coincidence! LOL

WELCOME to our new judges!! Its a great experience, learning curves are always expected so dont be shy to speaking up if you have any problems :) PMs are always welcomed lol.
FROGGY!!!! We will miss the pitter patter of your ickle flippers this time round ... but are looking forward to the return of your buff lil amphibian booty when you get back hehehe
Welcome back to our regular judges .. we're gettin a bit old now so we should be right?? Okee ... 100 is like the new 60 but still ... a few extra grey hairs with all these wonderful vocals we have to judge and eliminate .. so a few more this round and Im off to get myself some dye!
BANNERS - I do sometimes use the bannermaker place if I have forgotten to work on it at home where I have different programs (like paint shop) to help design it ... and then maybe use things like Blingy to give it some oomph ... but bannermaker is hit and miss with me so I use Blingy and now photobucket to get my ones to work ... which reminds me I better remember to start designing my new banners rofl ...
INTRO- for our new judges .. Im Shirley Schmidt from Crane, Poole & Schmidt on Boston Legal ... NOT Candace or Murphy lol ... not exactly a judge but the way I have to keep Denny & Alan in line I have learned to make some pretty good solutions lol ... and being in law for so long I feel I can be a fair and impartial judge :) I have been a SP judge since #1 and it is a wonderful experience ... even tho it is a little sad when we have to lose some of our lovely voices along the way (fortunately its like that shooting squad thing ... only one person has the real bullet and no-one knows who rofl ... so that is where Cinders & SSJudge come in handy hehehehe)

Welcome new judges! This is my second time around so I know exactly how you might feel. Like Tracy said, don't be afraid to ask questions! We have a blast here in judges corner! Unfortunately you won't have the privelage of the antics of our little green friend Michigan J. Frog. Quite an amusing little fella! We're gonna miss you on this comp. Froggy!! I had a huge problem getting my pic to upload when I first started my judges account too, but the techs got it fixed in a couple of days, so no worries. My name is Simon Cowell by the way, I'm a very fair and impartial judge but tend to think that 90 percent of what everyone sings is "the worst singing I've ever heard"! (j/k!!) I hope you enjoy this as much as I did in the SS2. I'm sure SS3 will prove to be even more exciting and more difficult to judge than before, but with the enthusiasism these judges have, we can make it through anything! My favorite saying is, "If you have a love for songs and the people that sing them, SingSnap is the place to be"! (That's trademarked btw!)

I'm Amanda and I have judged on the "Britain's Got Talent" contest.
I have already started my listens but wanted to ask once I have marked my scores down who do I send them to and when?
And is there a certain way you submit your scoring?...sorry what I mean is when we forward our scores to whoever that is (Cinders?) do we break down our scores to show what points we award for clarity, emotion, pitch & entertainment value.....or do we just type the name of the contestant and our total score applied?

Great standard again already!! And loving the new voices that are giving it a go :) New songs too!! There is a positive to the lic song loss .. all these new songs coming up in the ranks for us to hear which we may not have otherwise!

oh maybe i should say a little bit about myself. i'm a professional director, occasional actor and specialize in musical theatre. i audition people for a living so to speak. glad to be on board with all these fantastic and experienced singsnap judges. i look forward to hobnobbing with my fellow judges here in the corner!
