IMO saying 'why be stuck in only the songs you know'..have nothing to do with not being able to sing the great songs that were lost...When you are older, like you and me ;), you love the nostalgic songs that bring memories, and are great classics...its easy to just learn new songs..that is wonderful and there are plenty to learn...but to be able to sing the ones that were Lic...the ones we put hard work into.....or... some of us put hard work into them...its too lightly taken to say...we can just learn new ones...the songs that are lost are mainly great classics..great artists... its like saying...you lost your turtles you can get new ones....we lost our songs, great classics and it has nothing to do with learning new ones...
donnyxxx wrote:well said lunac...if anyone dont jknow the added songs, then learn them..its more fun learning new songs then keep singing the same old ones surely...
Hmmmm...it's certainly an option for most, but at 55 years old, I like to sing songs that recall memories, and I don't have much of one anymore....it's very difficult for me to learn new songs! I do want my time here to be FUN, and it's most fun for me to sing songs I know. :o) It's okay for us to have different views on what we like to do here though isn't it? :o)

Or...you lost your Beatles, so sing some sloth and armadillo and turkey vulture songs.
Again, I have to say that we musn't assume that learning new songs is an easy task for all of us. :o)
