%% AUDITIONS "TEDDYPOSSUMS TRIPLE THREAT"

Hello & welcome to our second contest! We had such a blast with the “HTYTIWB” contest, that we are back for a second dose of Fun & Friendship!
Here are the rules for “Teddypossum’s Triple Threat”

First off you may audition any song you wish, keeping in mind these things…
Your audition will be used as a tie breaker to reach the top 30 if needed and also for the finals if needed at that point!
You will need to post along with your Song name ~ Artist & link, a number 1 to 9. Here is an example:

This number picking for the next round needs to be done with each rounds submission. Everyone who auditions and picks a number between 1-9 will get a chance to attack the Triple Threat for the first round!

The 1-9 number you choose will correspond with a group of three artists usually but not always a Singing Group, a Female Singer and a Male Singer. Once you Find out what your Triple Threat mission is, you can go check out all of their Sing Snap material available & find the song you think can knock our socks off & give you life into another round!
Each round you MUST post a number between 1-9 with your entry. If you fail to post the number you want & you make it to the next round, you will be assigned a number of OUR CHOICE!!!
Here is an example: You chose #5 & the grouping under # 5 was as follows:

You would go thru the list of songs for those three artists and maybe choose “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” by Pat Benatar & record & post it for that round, along with your number choice for the following round if you make it. You may duplicate a song submitted by another singer if you wish. You may use your pitch changer & Videos and Harmonies are always welcome! Pre-records are also allowed for all rounds, if you happen to have them. Contact us before rounds end if you have some sort of trouble getting your song in, we may be able to work with you!
When we get into the first round, the songs will need to be in on Friday Nights by 9 PM Sing Snap time and we will have the new thread up by Saturday nights at 6 PM. I am hoping for as good a turn out as we had for the last contest (87) so maybe we can reach 100 this time :o)
We will get rid of an average of 10 folks per round until we reach the top thirty & throw in a twist. There will also be another twist when we get to the finals. Everyone who submits an audition gets to participate in the first round!!!
An artist may appear more than once in the contest, but expect to learn new songs. There is a reason this contest is called “Triple Threat”. One is because you get at least 3 artist each round to choose from, but one of the 1-9 numbers each round will have 6x3 artists available and one other one will have 9x3 for you to choose from! These will change each round. Sometimes you may have three well known artists with hundreds of songs and the next round, each of your artists may only have one song each!

Judging will be done by myself & my wife Pocketcage as well as a couple of secret judges we have in the wings if needed.

Prizes include: 1st , 2nd & 3rd place banners for your page. Your winning entry will be nominated for the Hall Of Fame! (Vicgal who won our last contest has his in the Hall now after his win). We also are going to send the winner a SPECIAL PRIZE chosen just for them & their personality, this will be determined when we have our winner ;o)

I was originally going to start auditions on May 2nd, but got everything together and ready to go, so will start it now. The first round, after auditions, should begin May 9th or the 10th. Good Luck everyone!

Remember, you may sing ANY song for the Audition!

I also forgot to add, since you are choosing the songs, this is a family friendly contest, so if you choose not to change a word that others may find offensive, mark the song offensive so others will know. Thank You!

Hey Jenn... Audition is a free for all (Any song you want) just make sure you choose a number 1-9 for next round :o) All folks who audition make it to round one :o)

Auditions are not over until May 9th or 10th and then another week for the first round. Plus you can use pre-records :o) Maybe it can work for you :o)
