The reason I chose Sing Snap as a hobby is because I enjoy trying to sing some great songs, and I also enjoy hearing other great singers singing those songs, so the two come together nicely here.

Oh, and as for why I chose Sing Snap as a hobby? Well, let's see, I'm a HUGE karaoke junkie, having run karaoke shows in DC, Baltimore and Richmond, as well as creating 3 karaoke websites! So it's only natural that I flocked to the website where I can sing all day every day without having to wait in the line of karaoke singers at a bar...but don't get me wrong, I still go out to karaoke as much as possible!

The reason Singsnap is my hobby : A friend posted a link to his song "Ring of Fire" on another website. I was intrigued but didn't come here immediately because I didn't have a mic or webcam. I got a new laptop with both built in and waa laa here I am. I sang a couple of songs and was hooked. I LOVE singing. Where else can a girl sing a duet with someone she's never met? or a trio?
Where else are there so many songs to choose from? Where else are there contests that are nonthreatening and friendly, daily challenges to stretch your musicality, and so many wonderful people?

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY EVERYBODY. I wish more people would recognize the "4th of July" as the day of our independence from England. As a retired Combat Veteran...I ask everyone today to thank a Veteran and/or a member of our Armed Forces and remember them in our prayers today and every day. Well, I joined SS as a hobby because I love to sing and I have been singing since I was 3. I never had the nerve to stand in front of people and sing so this way, I can enjoy singing without the nervous stage fright!! And singing for me is like breathing oxygen...I have to do it!!! It is also a way to relieve stress and pent up emotions!!!

My prayers are with all our military, my son in law Keith is in the army he and my daughter his wife live on the army base in Nth. Carolina and they are expecting their first baby boy any day now. He just got word their unit will be deploying as soon as they get their orders. He is hoping to get to see the birth of their baby before deployment. If everyone can pray for my son in law to see his miracle come into the world before he gets deployed i would appreciate it we need all the prayers we can get and also for him and all our military where ever they go and to come home to their love ones safe and sound. I joined SS..after having 4 children and work fulltime. why is ss my hobby, I have worked in a factory now 25 yrs, and the days that I am between prayer and tears/ and feeling the competition in this world really getting to me in that strain on my health and simplicity of life. I come here!!! there is always a song in my heart to sing so I can let it all go.
and I am really glad to see more new christian hits arriving so that myself and other friends I have made on this site have been able to sing with one voice to pull us through, lead others to the faith of believing we are never alone.

Oh ya whay singsnap is ONE of my hobbies...hehe I like singsnap because I'm a singer and I do it for a living and when I come here I can experiment with all the differernt songs I want to sing and thenn practice some of the new obnes and maybe use them in my show later on. I also like to meet new people and this is a GREAT way to do it and people who enjoy the same past time. Also I use to have by every new song I wanted to try and here I can do it for free...LOL (well almost)
