BronxBruce is back from vegas and just saw wicked for the 3rd time
This challenge is open to all. It runs until Tuesday Oct.30 at 6PM EDT. Its purpose is to give people a forum to have their songs heard. There is no judging involved. Everyone who participates is a winner.
PLEASE READ THESE GUIDELINES AND THE THEME DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING
1. Post ONE OR TWO songs that fit the theme (one is preferred but two are ok). If you have to, you may post a third and final one on the second day of the challenge. You may post a new song or one that was already recorded. You do not have to post a song to participate.
**2. For EACH song you post, listen to at least THREE other people’s songs during EACH day of the challenge and leave feedback. That means, if you post 2 songs you should listen to 6 others each day (12 total). Listen to as many as you wish but make sure you listen to at least three each day per song you post and leave feedback.
Listening is the most important part of this challenge. Supporting and experiencing others is what it’s about.
3. We prefer that you listen to the whole song rather than listening to 10 seconds so there's no need to try to listen to everyone. Try not to listen to the same people every day. Give new people a chance as well. The quality here is so good, you may find yourself doing more listening than you expected.
4. Although you may choose to post a tiny graphic with your comments, we ask that you do not post large glittery graphics as feedback.
5. Come back to the current challenge thread and write about your experiences. Mention songs you heard or anything else that strikes you, suggestions, etc., or not. Completely up to you. And please go back each day and listen to others. That's the most important part of this.
6. You don't need to post a song to listen but you need to listen if you post a song. It's best to post earlier in the challenge. But you can post up until the end. Just be aware that the closing hours of the challenge are better suited to listening than trying to squeeze in a last minute post.
New challenge themes are announced by 6pm Saturday and Tuesday. On the weekends we do challenges LIVE in our chat room. On Friday and Saturday they begin between 6PM and 7PM EDT. But you are welcome in there at any time. To access the room, learn how to use it and read the room guidelines, follow the links below.

Post a blues song. Blues songs have been sung for over 100 years. You can dig up some great blues artists from the early 20th century or sing a bluesy song recently performed by a contemporary artist. As long as it's bluesy, it belongs here.

GREAT ! GREAT! GREAT theme Bruce!!!
Oh wow how I love me some blues!!!I'm actually currently working on a duet with someone on one of my favorite blues songs, if I can get her to do her half, in the meantime, here's Woof doing both halves:
Oh, gosh. Blues is not my specialty when it comes to singing it...but love it at old company parties and barbecue cook-offs and such. but to sing it?? hmmm. :/
BronxBruce is back from vegas and just saw wicked for the 3rd time
As many are no doubt aware from some of the postings I've already seen, DO NOT RELY ON SINGSNAP'S "BLUES" CATEGORY. Many many blues songs can be found under rock, pop and standards. Even a few can be found in country. Elton John, Christina Aguillera and Frank Sinatra have all sung the blues. As has Billy Joel, as you'll notice below.
Here's one from me and Howard. It's only the second time we're on a song together and our first real duet.
Okay I was going to bed ... but for this challenge and especially for you I give you a blues, nay, jazz, nay rock er ... song? Cocaine Hmmm. JJ Cale I say, Eric Clapton it says. But they did it together at one point so I guess we're both right.
Also features very long 1.02 musical interlude if you wanna grab a drink or make a phone call ;-)
Nite!

you are soooo funny Wooof ...but oh I'm sorry about your computer ...I'd be singing the blues so loud and distraught the neighbours'd call the police ...can you borrow one?? anyone's ...just hurry back man!
And those of you that aren't in the UK, just so'z you know... we er, changed our clocks last night. So we are an hour later than usual. Well I'm more than an hour late but then I stayed up and didn't realise just how late it was ... I think the computer changed it's time and I thought hey still early!
Oh dear ... confused me then! Anyway ... in for a listen to all these great songs up here! Yeay!
