I have tried everything I could think of, when I go to listen to somebody speaks, it breaks up in and up. I even when google to download some chrome thing someone suggested, did not work. I think I need cable, I have land line. I even tried a new set of speakers, do not know what it is. I have had this computer for 2 yrs only, it is a windows xp vista, good computer, acer is brand name. Please somebody help me. Even when I try to sing, does the same thing, gotta me somebody with lots of smarts out there, lol. Thank you Judy

judy have you tried adjusting the volume levels? open up all the levels and mess around with them...sometimes when they are all up too high this can happen....it could of course not even be a software issue....it may be the input jack itself...if it isnt grounded correctly it will also have this effect.....do you have more than 1 speaker input on yer pc? try a different one maybe
Judy are you using head phones or a hand help mic or are you using a web cam to record? We recommend a headset as this tends to get rid of noise etc. Try cleaning out your cookies temp files and history. Also clean up your C drive. Another thing you can try is a speed test to see what your upload and download speeds are . If your speeds are too slow you will have problems recording.
