Challenge for All Stars would like to clarify a few points regarding the Challenge, its Hosts, and the Themes posted by the Hosts. DUTIES OF THE HOST: The duties of the Host are to develop a Theme for the day's Challenge, to listen to and bookmark the songs posted to that day's Challenge, and to MODERATE the BOARD for anything that would go AGAINST the FORUM BOARD RULES as stated by SINGSNAP. The DUTIES OF THE HOST DO NOT include moderating any DISPUTES that may occur between adults who visit the challenge. We would hope that Challenge members remember that they are Adults and CONDUCT themselves as such. We back up our Hosts 100 percent as to the Themes they post to the board. We would also hope that visitors to our Challenge respect the hard work that our VOLUNTEER Hosts put in for this Challenge. THANK YOU....SING ON

but we are still taking it...

How to Host a Challenge

A Challenge is simply a challenge to try a song which qualifies for a particular theme.

Now onto Today's Challenge

Ecclesiastes 7:1
A good name is better than a good ointment, And the day of one's death is better than the day of one's birth.

June 30th is my Birthday and I would like to Celebrate.
On the day I was born, I weighed in at 9 lbs. 21 inches Long

However, it is NOT my birthday that I would like for us to celebrate today.

For this Challenge,
I would like to celebrate our Sing Snappers who have passed on.
Though they may be gone from us physically, their Spirit lives on and they continue to touch us and bring Joy into our lives, each and every time we visit their recordings here on Sing Snap.
Today, let's lift them up and re-live the great times we all shared. Let's show that they are still a part of our community. Let's show that they are loved and dearly missed. When Jesus calls me home, I can't think of anything that would honor me more, (here on SingSnap) than if everyone would simply celebrate & continue sharing my recordings with one another.

2 Timothy 4:7-8

Let's all sing a song from their archives and/or sing a duet with them.
Please include anyone else you know of who has passed on.
Maybe you already have a pre-recorded duet with them? Post it & share it with us.
Please share their recordings with us as well. (A favorite of yours that you would like for us to hear)
Make them part of this Challenge.
You can also sing any song appropriate as a dedication to them. This can be any song, possibly one that you know was a favorite of theirs? Any previous dedications DO qualify for this challenge

If it is not obvious,
Please specify as to how your song fits the theme at the time you post your song.
And PLEASE post the song Title along with the link. Otherwise Carol will have no idea what the song is as she updates the song list for us.
If posting someone else's recording other than your own, Please include their SS name with your post. Otherwise Carol will have no idea who is singing the song as she updates the song list for us.

I prefer Fresh Recordings (If personal & not a duet with those we are celebrating.)
but if there are reasons that you are unable to record, Pre-records will be accepted only if they have not been used in any other previous Challenges on SingSnap.
However, if you have a pre-record that you entered into a previous challenge, and nobody bothered to listen and give you any comments,
feel free to share it with us for fun, as long as it has 5 or less total comments. (Provided that you have already submitted an Entry song for THIS Challenge)
Joint Challenge songs are welcome, provided they have been recorded within the past 24 hours & has not been used in Challenge For All Stars 250.
In Any Case: (Any previous dedications DO qualify for this challenge)

Carol or I will be Book Marking only Challenge Entries, so please specify which song you are using for your Challenge Entry,
however, we will still listen and comment on every song posted (provided it qualifies for the Theme of course)

4 year old Dominic & his step-father Jesse (Joking_Jesse), was tragically taken from us on May 20, 2008, due to a terrible auto accident involving a dump truck.
