Welcome to “A Quarter For The Jukebox” Round 6. Sadly we have to say goodbye in the main competition to 7 of our contestants. We lost some really good singers this round. Scores are getting really tight. I would like to invite each person who is eliminated to continue singing with us in the Soda Shoppe. You are still a part of our jukebox group as long as you would like to be. I enjoy hearing all of you but unfortunately in all contests we have to make the numbers smaller in the main competition. I would also like to ask anyone who has been eliminated if you would like to volunteer to be on the panel of judges for the last 3 rounds of the contest (Rounds 8, 9 and 10) to please send me a pm. All judges for the final 3 rounds will remain anonymous. Rick and I could sure use your help.

Congratulations to Dusty180 for winning the extra quarter in Round 5. Deelyte was a winner in Round 1, Joelbud66 was the winner in Round 2, Cheryliana was the winner in Round 3 and Libbyjoyce. The last round was the last chance for winning quarters. Dusty used her first quarter so will not be eligible to use her quarter for ¼ point at the end but will be able to use it to choose another jukebox in any of the rounds. I think by now everyone knows the rules. They will remain the same throughout the contest. If you need to refer back to them here is a link back to Round 4 where all the rules are in detail.

You will only be scoring for this round and the next one before our panel of judges takes over the scoring. You will continue to carry your scores with you but the panel of judges will not know where you are ranking. Low and High Score will continue to be thrown out each round. This is a cushion to keep any one person from low balling or high balling a contestant.

Find your jukebox. You must choose one song to sing from your jukebox for your entry unless you decide to spend your quarter and sing from one of the other jukeboxes. You can only do this once during the whole contest unless you win one of the challenges for an extra quarter. This is the last round for the trivia challenge.

RULES FOR THE SODA SHOPPE
The Soda Shoppe is a place where former contestants may continue to share their music with us. It is also a place where our contestants may try out another song to share that they do not wish to enter or can’t enter for competition. All Songs done in the Soda Shoppe must be new recordings and must be taken from any of the Jukeboxes with the current round. Our contestants may choose any jukebox within the current round to sing from in the Soda Shoppe. You are allowed only (1) song in the Soda Shoppe. You are not required to sing in the Soda Shoppe…this is just an option for the ones who would like to sing an additional song.

REMINDER - Rita and I are putting together a panel of judges from our former contestants for the panel of judges who will be scoring the last 3 rounds. If you would like to be on this panel please send a pm to Rita or myself. All judges will remain anonymous. We would like to have a minimum of 7 judges but will accept more if we can get them. We have 5 signed up now. We need your help in those last 3 rounds and would appreciate any help we can get.

Well like every round from the very start for some reason I hold my breath and scroll down slowly..I think a little bird told Rita and she got scared for me cause she started shorting the entry up there...Oh by the way i'm breathing now...LOL..So glad you all decided to keep me around awhile longer...

RULES FOR THE SODA SHOPPE
The Soda Shoppe is a place where former contestants may continue to share their music with us. It is also a place where our contestants may try out another song to share that they do not wish to enter or can’t enter for competition. All Songs done in the Soda Shoppe must be new recordings and must be taken from any of the Jukeboxes with the current round. Our contestants may choose any jukebox within the current round to sing from in the Soda Shoppe. You are allowed only (1) song in the Soda Shoppe. You are not required to sing in the Soda Shoppe…this is just an option for the ones who would like to sing an additional song.

For all you folks that neglect to choose a jukebox for next round, I got this little place here made up for you. I renamed it the "SIN BIN"!! lol So, I wonder who all are going to make it in for a visit?

REMINDER - Rita and I are putting together a panel of judges from our former contestants for the panel of judges who will be scoring the last 3 rounds. If you would like to be on this panel please send a pm to Rita or myself. All judges will remain anonymous. We would like to have a minimum of 7 judges but will accept more if we can get them. We have 5 signed up now. We need your help in those last 3 rounds and would appreciate any help we can get.
