MilaMay N Friends will be opening on Thursday nights with open mic at 9:00 EST.. So, come sing with us..It's a lot of fun. If you need help getting on..just let one of us know. I trained Tig, so I know she can help ya. You guys have a lot of fun, and I'll be listening to some of your songs. Maybe we can have you come do them in my room one night...wouldn't that be fun.. You pick a room, I always go to Susan's Karaoke room and you raise your hand and stand in line to sing. and it has a button on the bottom of the chat room to grab the mic and sing on your turn, you can do it live or have a song set up from singsnap to play
its neat or you can play DJ and have songs set up to play for the room...its pretty neat, the only thing is you can only hear from your speakers how the music sounds to you. So you gotta type in the chat and ask how is the volume and hope someone answers.
Its a chat room so conversation is going on also while you or anyone is singing.

New things happening here at singsnap...I have partnered up with Shea and we are hosting "The All New Shea Show Talent Showcase" We will only be showcasing great singers of singsnap on "The Shea Show". You may enter a song at the challenge thread or promotion thread.
Tigger's Corner is going to become a singsnap nightclub, you can submit "dance tunes" only at the thread on the challenge or promotion thread. We will feature them from 9 - 12 PM Monday thru Friday est, singsnap time...

If you got talent and want to be showcased at "The Shea Show" enter your songs here for consideration, we will listen to all songs and send a message to you. Not all will make it but feel free to put in another song you feel may make it into the cut. If you know someone that has talent and is shy, send in one of their songs.

How do you get into The All New Shea Show Talent Showcase???

1. Remember the song was meant for the singing artist not you. If you pick a song that is in your range, you can work it out. Then make the song yours.
When people look at a song on the thread board, they remember the song, and the singing artist singing it and how they put the song together. The only thing they know about you at this point is the face in the window of the song.

2. Sing songs in your range, not songs you like, cause you were jamming to them on the radio. CD's and radio is a perfect place to start to find your range. Play the CD turn the music up and try to blend with the song. If it blends its a song for you. If it doesn't its just a great song to listen to.

3. Be yourself...Don't try to be someone you aren't. Everyone can sing and become a singer. If you are serious about it, then find your niche. If you are just singing for laughs and giggles thats OK too. Music is to make you happy.

4. This is the big one, it drives me insane.....When you are singing a song, get focused. I don't want to hear you cough, hack, blow your nose, talk, laugh and giggle while singing the song.
I don't want to hear you yelling at the kids, dog, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, neighbors, or anyone else.
If you were in a recording studio, none of this goes on.
When I listen to songs I want to hear YOU singing and nothing in the background.

5. Lastly, some of you don't have your records set for duets, we can't feature you unless this feature is on. Both me and Shea have missed quite a few singers because this feature isn't on. Private songs can't be featured either, so when you send us a song please make sure it is set for public.

I will try to advise if I can to help singers along. I don't badmouth or insult anyone who is trying to be better.
I never put down anyone who is trying to better their talents in anything. I say go for your dreams and make them happen and if I can help along the way I am here.
