Surely .... you agree that everyone should have the chance to be showcased?

They will never ever be able to with the HOF as it is now and the wealth of spamming that seems to be spreading like 'swine flu'.

My point was meant to be that those who claim to have no interest in the HoF are the ones who often seem to be shouting the loudest about it...& if they truly don't care about it then why are they trying to get it removed? Why not just ignore it completely? Just because someone doesn't like something, why deprive those who DO enjoy it, or would enjoy it if certain changes were made?

I don't like nuts, or mint, or smoking...but that doesn't mean I want these things removed from existence...I just leave them to those who enjoy such things & concentrate on enjoying the things I DO enjoy :)

& I feel that the HoF has a place here, sans-spam. & if such spam is removed then logically those recordings with a little extra something to them should be the ones which rise to the top. This will generally mean exceptional performances but may also be especially cute or funny or moving recordings...& all voted for freely by the members here on SS.

well, it be no problem with me if people would just stop spamming me with their HOF VOTE FOR MY SONG!! pm's from people I don't even know. That is my biggest problem. I don't visit it, unless someone from my favorites ask me to check it out, like you Miles for example. But people I don't know who constantly send me pm's day in and day out, is what bothers me. Sure I block them after a cpl of those type of pm's but for every one that I block, another comes out of the wood work LOL.

That's my main thing. If they were to do with it( get rid of it), it be no skin off my nose LOL. Cus then the spamming for HOF votes would stop LOL. I hate having to BLOCK anyone but I will if they continue, especialy after asking them nicely not too.

If their is a way to eliminate such spamming of pm's, then I could careless wether the HOF stays or not.

Lanell, I'm perfectly calm. Mostly just joking around. I'm really NOT a HOF supporter...at all. But I would be if more changes were made in the right direction.

If it makes some people happy, then more power to them, I guess. And I know there are people who are there and belong there. But it's just not my cup of tea.
