That's ridiculous! You're a fabulous singer.
I'm always of the opinion that everyone likes different people, that's why we all have different favourite artists. However nobody, especially not a friend, should ever tell someone that they can't sing at all. Even the people with a very minor talent who just enjoy themselves have something to bring to the table and should be appreciated.
You however, are far from that, I think you're amazing, and would happily sing another duet with you any time.

Well, I'd just chalk it up to experience and be safe in the knowledge that your success will annoy her more than any retaliation. I'm pretty jealous of my sister who has a successful career as a club singer (I don't have the courage to do it) but I'd never disrespect her singing just to make me feel better. It's really pathetic behaviour.

it wasnt ur fault- SS said sometimes my comments cause "faults or errors" and just don't get posted.. I've tired IE, Firefox, Google Chrome and none fixed the problem.. I just dunno anymore ....

I don't understand why people have to send you or anybody nasty PM's ElVezlady? Don't they understand that some people have to work full time plus take care of kids, or maybe they have health issues or just don't have the time to listen to 100 people sing?

I try my best to listen but I'm not going to when I have a full time job and two kids to take care of and a husband.

They need to understand that this isn't your #1 priority. Sure, it's fun but there's no need for nastiness.

Hope your day gets better ElVezlady...and everyone's day that's having a rough time with anything in their lives.

What would I say to someone? Hmmmmm. . . . .

I guess I would tell Pres. Obama:

"Don't trust the russians! They'll steal the shirt off your back. They fooled JFK and he had more experience, AND Putin is smarter and more devious than Kruschev!"

Other than that, I would tell my kids to call and visit even when they don't need money.

and Im going to miss singing at the boarding and nursing homes, the phone calls, the hugs, the advice, your smile, your testimonies and encouragement- the special chair by the ladies room at church that has your "this chair is reserved for Jemima Jipson" on it is going to make me cry when I go to Bible study tonight,
and friday when we say good bye that last time- knowing we won't hear your harmonica play anymore- I miss you so much already and it's only been 3 days, and I love you-you've earned your rest...

I just realized I never answered the question you asked us before you said it was a duet! :) I would like to say a lot to many different people. Therefore, I will just make a statement to the world: If you're gonna do right, do right all the time not just half the time.

Gosh, I would love to tell my Mother In Law to stop being so judgemental. Nothing bothers me more than people who claim to be a good Christian and brag about going to Church every Sunday and Holiday and Holy day and then bash their Sister, Brother, Husband, Kids, etc, etc... I am So tired of feeling like I never measure up, like I can't cook, clean, know how to raise my children, be a good wife, and not convert to her Religion. I'm tired of worrying about what she thinks, I'm DONE. As for me and my house we shall serve the LORD. I'm doing the best I can working full time, raising two kids, and taking care of my husband and home. So she needs to BACK OFF, cut the umbilical cord to her Son and let us live our life the way WE want, not the way SHE would. She needs to let loose, be silly, have a drink now and then, love life, live, laugh, and LOVE everyone, no matter WHAT! WHEW!!!

Actually, it's not JUST my Mother In Law, it's My Father In Law and Sister In Law...and that also goes for a few people at work too!! YEAH! Thanks, I feel better already by venting!!

This song is for my Ben, my love, who, at times, can run hot and cold regarding our relationship. I love him dearly, however, his indecisiveness has caused me to doubt what he says he wants. It can be confusing, but I do believe that Life's Road, has lead me to where we are, and we should follow it individually, yet together in support of one another. Relationships are not easy but they are worth the work.

What I would say to someone is....to Mindie....I'm so sorry, I just got home and noticed this song has to be done by 10:18, at least that is exactly one week from the beginning......I sure hope I've made it.....not sure how the recording sounds.....I just did it in a hurry. Cass, bump just means it puts the thread up so it doesnt get lost in the shuffle of contests..the more posts a thread(contest) gets, the higher it makes it go till it gets to page one and then people find it better :-)
