The USA is pulling our legs on the truth about oil!
The real truth is,,gas should be about 1.50 a gallon..
But They "the USA" or the goverment..is hiding the truth about why it is so high,,
It is high because of agreements made many years ago with the middle east..on imports in exchange for goods,,to reduce the deficit..
And in Alaska,,there are 3 major oild fields that have wells drilled and capped off , containing enough oil and gas to last us 200 or more years!!!
But not a drop has been released from them !
So ,,,Dont buy that bull crap about we are running out! Cause we are not!!!
Me and you are are paying the deficit,,through the pump!!

Here is a poem that I wrote about this topic..
We're all being fooled everyday
And there's no end in sight
Oil makes the world go round
And the US will screw you right
Right down to your last dollar
Fix you where you cant drive
Tax you and make you holler
But it's all just a pack of lies
There's been a 30 year plan
Just to control the flow
To keep the demand high
And make the taxes roll
Here we are a mighty country
Producing most of everything
Yet down in 3rd world Mexico
Two dollars for gasoline
And then there's Gull Island
Enough oil to last 200 years
The well's been there since the 70's
But not a drop ever made it here
We have more coal than anyone
Of that coal oil can be saved
To run cars and trucks whenever
But those taxes wont be made
So crack the valve that has the oil
Turn it till it's nearly closed
Act like the supply running out
As the rich man turns up his nose
Everything is linked to oil
Media is in it too
All linked to those mighty dollars
Paid for by me and you..

Yea down in Brazil gas is 26 cents a gallon!!
They are using sugar cane to produce ethanol..
Dont know if I spelled that right,,,but oh well,,

hehe ,,yea I used to ride a bike when I was younger,,
and it is good exersize!...Cranked a 10 speed from Sulpher springs to Galveston island!,,Man that was a ride!
Took 7 days,,,,,,

ahh, well I've never gone on a ride like that..ita been fun..in my younger days..
when I worked at a gas staion , I was pumpin' gas @ 29.9 per gallon..

This gas thing has really got me pissed though....
The bigshots dont care,,,They dont care if it's taking food from your table,,,They dont care if you are having trouble getting by,,,or if you cant hardly afford to drive anywhere!
They are making their money!,,And that's all they care about!

The plan is for gas to reach 10 dollars a gallon!!
And that will be in the next 1 to 2 years,,,
And at that point,,,there will be a release of Alaskan oil..
to reduce the price,,They will have made enough money off our asses by then,,,And at that point they will reduce imports of foreign oil,,That is the plan!!!

And we need to explore other place to drill....All Crap!
WE HAVE THE WELLS DRILLED ALREADY!!!!
BUT THEY ARE CAPPED OFF!!!
Because Of agreements made to the middle east!!
Alaska Contains as much oil if not more than all the middle east!
But letting it pour down here,,,does not bring the big tax dollars!

ok i posted as you were posting...keep in mind i have been drinking....
\anyway...its so not fair. we spent 200.o00 on groceries today..made up broke. because the company my husband workds for no longer thinks 'foremans' deserve to get paid trravel time...ok but he travels about 4 hours a day. he grosses about 1100.00 but by the time taxes, healthcare, is taken ou and you have to pay a car loan, get groceries, and fuel a tank. you are left with NOTHING. the rest of our bills....dont get paid, vacation--doesnt happen, i have so had enough, and there is nothing not a thing i can do about it.

Yea,, we have our own wells..and many are capped or turned nearly off,,,to keep demand high!!
And a lot of our oil,that we produce here..leaves the US
to other country's...
It's all a big game they are playing with taxes..

That's cause it's being payed out through the high gas prices,,,Hence...the reason for keeping gas high,,and for not allowing many of the new wells,,or the drilling in international waters..

1. envirnmentalists play a huge factor on why we dont drill for oil in alaska...i have a few questions for them people...
2. we have found oil in other states also...why arent we drilling them...and sorry i left out

ok, I agree that there is 'other ' oil to be had..are own from Alaska and I think they found some in Montana..(or Wyoming)
anyway, I do think we need to develope an alternative, like you mentioned solar, and I saw something run on water even.
